“Great pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014

We came here because we had a coupon. My husband and I and our adult son decided to give it a try on a Sunday afternoon. We were warmly greeted by a young man and given our choice of tables. We ordered 2 large pizzas -- one veggie and one hamburg and mushroom. When giving our order I told our server that we didn't like our pizzas black on the bottom from being in a wood-fired oven. He was very understanding and said he would mention it to the cook. They were cooked exactly how we liked them-- brown on the bottom but not black. They were absolutely delicious! So light that we didn't feel stuffed. The server was upbeat, courteous and attentive. Everything was sparkling clean. Decor modern. We are just tickled that we found this wonderful restaurant in a shopping plaza. We will return often, maybe try their Italian dinners. However, their pizzas are so good we might order both.

“Take-out is okay. Probably better to eat in. ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014 via mobile

We're ordered take-out from here twice because my hubby loves pizza but I'm gluten free. They offer gluten free pies so we always get one of each.
The first time we ordered, the pizza was decent but we could tell it would have been better fresh out of the oven at the restaurant - not driven 15 minutes across town. The flavors were good though.
The second time we ordered take-out and my husband got home with the pizzas, we found almost no cheese on either one. Mine was just a pepperoni pizza so it should have had ample cheese. Instead it was just crust, sauce, and pepperoni with a couple dots of cheese around the edges. Very odd. My husband's pizza also had sparse dots of cheese on it though it was one of their signature pizzas that listed cheese as an ingredient.
If we get take-out pizza again, we'll look elsewhere.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2014

My boyfriend and I love wood-fired pizza and usually drive pretty far to get it. So, we were thrilled when we tried this local restaurant. The place was cute and trendy. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. The pizza was amazing! We had Billy's Bianco and it was great! If you love creamy, cheesy pizzas...it's the way to go. We also had the Spicy Roni which was also wonderful. The Argula/Goat Cheese Salad was amazing as well. Will certainly go back!

“Great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 January 2014

I'm a regular and am just getting around to reviewing but I have to say I'm shocked no other reviews mention the meatballs! I order them every time I'm there, because they are fantastic! We usually get meatballs, one of the salads (fresh & creative!) and sometimes pizza, sometimes not. Their bolognese is outstanding as well. It's obvious Camille's uses fresh, local (when possible) ingredients and they care about the food! Great selection of craft beers (finally in Tolland!!) and wine. Great wine specials on Wednesday night as well. The atmosphere is casual, clean and modern. Staff is attentive and the prices and portion sizes are excellent. By portion size, I mean there is not a pound of pasta on a plate and that's the way I like to eat.

“almost a 5 but the chairs were uncomfortable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2014

The wait staff was extermely attentive. we were quickly seated & told MS XXX would be our server, MS XXX came over & took our drink order while we pondered the possiblities of the pizza. We said we need just a little more time do decide on teh pizza. after an appropraite time, Mr YYY came & took our pizza order. The wait staff were more comcerned about masking the dinners happy than being territorial with the not my table attitude. That is a very good thing. We ordered the spinach pizza and added sausage. As to Mr Lasvegas - wood fire pizza will be thin crusts.we were only going to eat half but it was so good we finished the whole thing. What we liked about the pizza was the crust stayed crisp to the last bite & didn;t get soggy

Why then a 4? we ate in the bar - they have high tables & stools & my leg did not reach the foot rest. I wear pants with a 30 inseam so I am not stubby. This left my feet dangling. Having a knee replaced several years ago, my knee is sensitive to twisting & dangling is not a good thing. My husband had to help me with my first few step off the chair. This is not the best type of seating arraignement for anyone with a knee problem. when we left I saw some tables with cushy den type arm chairs that look invitiing. Next time we'll try them.

It would be good for families and the beer selection was interesting with some of the usual and not so usual beer listing.
