Prior to attending a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert here, someone had stated that it was a terrible, shabby club. Well, it is not a "club." It's an arena that holds 10,000 people. It was small enough to get a more intimate concert feel and yet, big enough to know you were in an arena. The audience and band loved it for these reasons. The sound (building acoustics) was great. I was pleasantly surprised as a powerhouse concert can overwhelm a small place. There weren't any bad seats which meant you could see all of the band and no matter where you were, you could see the incredible concert lighting. The staff and security were very pleasant as well-that is not always the case. I would definitely return there for a concert.

The sound system at the Mohegan Sun arena has just earned my first excellent rating. Of course, it always helps to have good seats near the sound system but I get a feeling and from reading a few other reviews that most patrons who have visited recently feel the same way as I do.
Was there recently for the last two nights of the sold-out Bruce Springsteen Wrecking Ball/High Hopes) tour. This was my first visit to the arena and I was sitting in the same general locations for both Sat. and Sun. The sound was excellent and the picture quality on the video screens was equally first rate. It was a tad warm in the arena but occasionally you would get a cool little shot of a/c to revive you. When you're there for Bruce as most Bruce fans know, you're not sitting very much and your seat is sometimes used mainly as a prop. I found them comfortable enough. Nothing much more to say. A dynamic sound system that would make any concert event a most enjoyable, pleasant experience. Well done, Mohegan Sun, architects and sound engineers alike. Bravo...

PRO: Sound system and temperature were fantastic. Saw a comedy show one night, and then a combo Santana & Rod Steward concert the next. SOUND and screens were great for all 3 shows. Temperature was also very comfortable. We sat in 2 different sections. Lots of kiosks after getting thru security, for wine, cocktails, beer, and some limited food. Staff available for easily locating seats. And there were ENOUGH LADIES ROOMS! WOW!!!

Con: Exiting after Chelsea Lately was very difficult - the book signing line extended INTO the lobby area, preventing people from exiting.

Enjoy going here to watch the WNBA CT Sun play, playing the slots and eating at the buffet. Have been to concerts here too.

Saw Santana and Rod Stewart in concert here. An amazing performance. Our seats were in the top row in front of the stage. (Nose bleed seats, my husband said). Nonetheless, we had no trouble seeing Rod Stewart and his jumbo screen. Santana was more difficult to view as the top of his jumbo screen was obstructed by the projector. Would highly recommend seats at least 10 rows below the top.
