“For a perfect weekend”

We recently stayed in The Dunloe Hotel, Killarney, the minute you walk through the door the reception staff make you feel welcome and welcome you with a genuine greeting and conversation. The pool, all out door kids activities, rooms, food , breakfast and everything makes this hotel perfect.
My husband is a coeliac and often we find it very difficult when eating out, the Dunloe Hotel staff had a very clear understanding of gluten free food, the food was exceptional.
We will certainly stay there again, looking forward.

We are just back from a 10 day trip to Ireland and The Dunloe was without doubt the best hotel we stayed in. While it is a five star hotel, the atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious.

The facilities are excellent. We availed of the horse riding, the tennis and the beautiful pool and our kids loved the playground and kids' club. The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained.

We had a family room - best family room we have ever had, and we have travelled quite a lot as a family. Our room had a terrace overlooking the mountains. The kids had their own adjoining room and bathroom and the bedding and linens were of high quality.

Breakfast and newspapers were included with a wide range of home baked breads, fruit, cheese, Irish breakfast foods and a chef on hand to prepare special requests. A nice touch was the travel cups to take an extra coffee to start the day.

We can't say enough good things about the hotel. The staff were all so nice, so accommodating and so welcoming. Carina is the lady we dealt with most and she was just charming.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a stay here. You won't regret it.

Had a super time at The Dunloe with wife and 4 kids. Perfect for families as the facilities are amazing. Kids loved the pool, play park and the kids club was brilliant. We have 2 special needs children and they really loved the kids club. Our youngest is 3 and a half and has Down syndrome and the girls who run the kids club where marvellous. This allowed us to have a delicious meal together in their wonderful restaurant free from our kids so we could have some "us time".

While not normally one to submit reviews, our experience getting married at The Dunloe was such that we simply had to. From the incredibly attentive staff, who do so in such a natural welcoming way, to the picturesque hotel and grounds, to the food which surpassed our greatest expectations, we truly could not speak highly enough of this hotel. We were fortunate to enjoy spectacular weather on our wedding day, and the outside drinks reception on the grounds was something that will live with us forever. If feeling at home while being pampered in luxury is your thing, then The Dunloe is the hotel for you.

Room Tip: Hotel sells itself on the Gap view, but the view looking north is every bit as pretty.

Spent 6 glorious nights at the Dunloe! The grounds are beautiful, with it's own castle, and the view of the Gap of Dunloe and the surrounding country-side was breath-taking. Also, the service and food was outstanding. May never get back to Ireland but will always have great memories of our stay at the Dunloe!

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the Gap of Dunloe!

let me start by saying that it is one of the finest locations for a wedding, and to Simon and your team your delivery of service is superb.I stayed in the hotel 15years ago and was impressed then but on my return to a friends wedding on the 11th of july i was blown away at the great attention to detail after the renovations.
Rooms were of a very high standard and housekeeping faultless.Food at the reception and throughout our 3 night stay was as good as it gets.
helping us with our golf arrangements for thursday at Kilarney golf&fishing club was painless and i look forward to returning for a short stay again soon.
I can honestly say that the 5 stars are well deserved and to liam at front desk your ability in dealing with our requests is a credit to you and the hotel.

Attended a wedding in this hotel recently and steyed overnight.
It was a wonderful experience, the hotel is worthy of it's 5 stars.
The service and the food were excellent. The setting is stunning with amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
Highly recommended.
