My daughter and I stayed two night at the Purple heather. Tim and Nora were very welcoming. The breakfasts were fantastic and started our sight seeing day out well. The rooms were clean and spacious. Having parking and WiFi also made a difference for us. We would recommend the Purple Heather highly.

A really lovely B&B. The scenery is breath-taking. Tim & Nora are so friendly...their home is clean, comfortable and situated close to the town of Killorglin. I heartily recommend The Purple Heather as the place to stay if you are visiting this part of Ireland.

Room small but cozy with all amenities. Spotless. The grounds are stunning. A full Irish breakfast (choice of French toast or pancakes!) is served in a lovely conservatory dining room with striking views of Ireland’s highest mountains, Carrantuohill. An excellent stay close to Ring of Kerry and Dingle.
Your hosts Tim and Nora are warm and charming, the essence of Irish hospitality. My husband and I hope to see them again! “And we’ll all go together to pull, wild mountain thyme All across the purple heather…”

Nice B&B, clean and comfortable. The room was not very large, but nonetheless, all the essentials were there. The mattress could stand a renewal though. The host was welcoming and helpful. Very good breakfast. Good value for money.

Tom and Nora were very hospitable, helpful, and recommended Kate Kerney's for dinner which was wonderful. There were 2 of us traveling(ladies) and they made us feel welcomed, The rooms were small with 2 twin beds. The linens were wonderful and room beautifully decorated. The room served is purpose for us. Would stay here again. Great location, close to gap of dunloe.
