“Great Tapas, great wines, a guided culinary tour of Spain”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

For the second time, we attended the Barcelona Restaurant with family members. The menu is mainly tapas, which are a collection of small portions of Spanish plates full of flavor. Tapas are a great opportunity to travel the culinary culture of Spain. From aged ham and chesses to sea food variations. A large wine collection, mainly from Spain, served by bottle or glass provides an ample opportunity to experiment with several combinations of mouthwatering flavors. A “jarra” of cold sangria is also an option for summer time.
They also offer a regular meal menu topped with freshly cooked paella for two. Let the staff guide your tour of flavor and quantities. You may become full with the tapas and may decide to share paella with your party. A two person portion served six guests!
Prices are reasonable but on the high end. Lunch and dinner is a festive family oriented environment, turning into more “mature” crowd for evening time.
Better if you make a reservation! Buen Provecho!

“Very good tapas”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Very good tapas, bread and wine. Overall a very energetic place, at times just too loud to enjoy friends. Probably best to avoid Friday evening when everyone is at the bar.

“A Delightful Evening with a Roudy Group”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

This is a very handsome and well-run tapas bar that handled my group of exuberant sales guys most gracefully. I would agree with "Neatrich" that the staff is very well-trained and very professional. The service was fast, the food was terrific and the variety of choices more than enough to satisfy the most challenging pallet. The wine selection is very broad. You will not go home hungry from "Barcelona."

A word about the service. When we arrived (my office had reserved the room for large groups, and ordered a fixed menu to eliminated confusion) they seated us quickly and effortlessly. We had three servers working our group of twenty people, and yet at the same time the rest of the restaurant (including a very handsome and well-equipped bar) was busy and yet equally well-served. In particular, I compliment Miss Rebecca, one of our servers, who kept her poise and her smile even when we got really noisy.

I look forward to going back without the gang and seeing what else this terrific restaurant can deliver.

“Excellent food”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

Stumbled into this place and were quite happy about it. A good variety of food choices and many wines by the glass. The chocolate indulgence was awesome!

“Fantastic tapas and delicious sangria!”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

We continue to return to Barcelona. Where to start....first the service is wonderful. Every wait person knows the menus, is well educated on the food and drink and is very friendly and professional. They will go out of their way to accommodate requests. The tapas are delicious. Whether a romantic dinner for two or bring a group of friends with you, order up a bunch of tapas and enjoy. The way to experience the menu is first order 2 or 3 tapas, hold on to a menu, and continue to order tapas during your dinner 2 or 3 at a time until you've had enough. Be sure to try the hanger steak - mouth watering delicious with truffle sauce. We always have that as one of our last items. Save room for dessert if you're able. And don't forget the sangria - it's wonderful! Warm weather, be sure to request a table on the patio. Make reservations, or wait in the bar. One of the best bars in the state. Fun atmosphere and great cocktail menu.
