Always innovative and delicious. Great service. Not had a bad experience in more than 10 visits. Daily Specials are both savory and sweet with frittatas, crepes and eggs all served up by Chef Ricky's expert hand. A MUST TRY if visiting the Shoreline or a local.

Couldn't ask for better food. The chef Ricky is a very personable stand up gentlemen who always has something that everyone can enjoy. I highly recommend turtle cafe. Best breakfast and lunch on the shoreline.

We stop here when we are visiting family in Westbrook. The Gentleman who owns this place has passion! HIs homemade corned beef hash is excellent. We have never had a bad meal here! Worth any kind of wait there might be.

Find this little luncheonette as soon as possible, you will not be sorry. We have never been here for lunch but the breakfasts we have enjoyed here as second to none. Last time we visited I had the Sausage Lover’s Frittata and my wife the Lover’s Crêpe. Words cannot describe the wonderfulness of these dishes. Like I said, find this little spot in center of Westbrook and enjoy! The one and only downside, if it even is one, is the wait. All dishes are cooked to order in the order the owner/chef receives them. Believe me it is very well worth the wait!!

Strictly on the advise of Trip Advisors' reviews We chanced having lunch in Westbrook CT. as we traveled from VA to Putnam CT. This is a corner lunch-counter restaurant that one might stroll by on their way to looking for a Ruby Tuesdays. Stop! The lone and only owner-chef was a magician. Watching him was like watching a dance. He never stopped. Dressed with a chef's hat and with a thermometer in his pocket he created delicious miracles. It was terrific! I had a unique crepe and my husband had a burger. They were the best...husband says the best burger he has ever had and he knows burgers. Stop and smell the creations, you won't be sorry.
