This place was awful. Dirty rooms, broken fitness equipment, bugs, and a horrible external appearance. Although we booked 3 nights, we left after 2. Most disappointing, however, was when we complained to Priceline, Priceline informed us that the hotel manager insisted that we stayed all 3 nights and did not complain about the bugs. Both of these statements were not true. I am not sure if I am more upset at Priceline for believing the manager who runs this dump or at the manager who lied to Priceline about how long we stayed and whether we complained. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Curb appeal is lacking. Room was spacious but bathroom is very outdated. Bed and linens were nice. Free wifi and breakfast included which are great for those on the go. There was a wedding reception when we checked in and unfortunately about 15 people standing outside the main check in entrance all Smoking! Did not enjoy walking through a cloud of smoke. No noise issues thankfully! I probably stay some where else next time.

Aged & last renovated by unskilled builders, this place has certainly seen better days. While paint everywhere and sloppy joining won't disturb a nights sleep, the loud plumbing is a little annoying. When rooms nearby shower it sounds like their tub is warming engines to launch into space.

With that said, the staff were nice, the rooms were clean and the beds comfy. If you've once backpacked and don't mind breakfast with disposable cutlery, this place may be your thing at the price.

We booked this hotel through Expedia for only 65.00. It is I minutes away from the expensive Marriot in Windsor which we also stayed at and then decided to go someplace more affordable.

The first thing that struck me is that I saw employees leaving to go home who were smiling and talking. I encountered more of the same at the front desk. The hotel was very clean. They said they had remodeled and were doing more. They seemed to update the color of most of the walls which gave it a more modern look. The pool was the same size as the marriot! neither had a jacuzzi.

The room was clean and tasteful, not as modern as the more expensive hotels but nice. You enter the rooms through the hotel or a sliding door outside like a motel. Buffet breakfast was included and had plenty of choices. I recommend this hotel for those who want an affordable hotel that is not dirty or sleazy.

To be honest, based on other reviews we were not pleased with being awarded this hotel, when we initially bid, intentionally avoiding the 3 star bid (they were initially rated at by Priceline).

To our pleasant surprise, our experience did not match the other recent reviewers. We think the property is now properly placed at a 2 1/2 star level and would certainly recommend staying there. We're planning another trip, possibly two, in November and hope to stay at this facility again. It is an older hotel, but the renovations that have taken place, certainly indicate that it is going in the right direction.

9 - Front desk - Friendly, helpful and efficient staff.

8 - Room - Renovated room, clean, bed/pillows comfortable and the heating/a/c was fine. Maid service was friendly and prompt.

8/9 - Food - A hot and cold breakfast (Continental style+) was available and better than expected.

7/9 - Facility - The renovated pool was very nice, as was the lobby and breakfast areas. The business center seemed adequate (though it would be nice if the kids didn't dominate the computers- more a parent issue, than a hotel issue). As mentioned before, we'll look forward to the outside lighting being addressed (minor issue).

Overall a very positive experience. We had our doubts going into this based on the reviews. But it looks like management is listening, because this was one of our better experiences. Again, being positioned at a 2 1/2 star level is accurate. If we get awarded this hotel again in a few weeks, we'll report back on it, but based on this experience, we would expect our next visit to be positive as well.

Room Tip: Request a renovated room.

This property could be something....but in its current state it isn't. The rooms are dated. The tube tv looks like it was new sometime in the early 90's, the dark blue carpet shows they clearly lack knowledge of how to properly vacuum as it does a nice job of showing you all the dirt, crumbs, and filth on the floor, and the beds are in use well past their expiration date. If you like a mattress that squeaks with each turn during the night, then, this is definitely the place for you!

The air conditioner wouldn't stay on...there were three options, high, low, and auto....they apparently all operate on auto, which is really annoying as I like to have a fan on all night to drown out other noise....the noise I was left with during my stay was the air conditioner cycling on and off all night...and planes flying overhead...and it didn't even do a sufficient job of cooling the room, I woke up hot more then once and had to get out from underneath the disgusting feeling sheets and comforter. The comforter is typical 1990s hotel comforter, yellow with some type of floral pattern, they apparently don't stay at other properties to know that comforters designed to hide dirt and stains are now out and white bedding is pretty standard issue. The sheets had hair on them, and the pillows have either seen better days or were grabbed up from a discount sale at Kmart.

Housekeeping clearly needs some retraining. The dust, while not built up for a long time, was still present and shows the room was hardly cleaned...there was dust on the headboard to the beds, the dresser, and the tv. I was actually able to write 'clean me' in the dust! The mirror also had smudges and there were crumbs on the alarm clock.

As for the bathroom, there is no exhaust fan, so no way to get rid of odors from the bathroom. The toiletries had been wet, I'm guessing they weren't used by the previous guest (or more) and were left. I made sure to throw them all away so at least the next guest would have clean packages.

The staff was friendly, the lobby is fairly grand, and the landscaping did seem decent. The indoor pool is small but the pool area looks nice. Some simple investments in new beds/bedding, modern tv's, and some quick retraining of housekeeping staff (and following up on housekeepers by management) would again make this place worthy of being a 3 star hotel. In its current state, it is not however. There are much nicer hotels for the same price in the same area. This hotel clearly misses the mark and will continue to see negative reviews and poor occupancy rates until they get with the times.

Showing up on the day of arrival I was hoping for vacancy of this hotel. I knew that it may or may not be vacant. As soon as I walked in and said I didn't have a reservation, the receptionist (without looking) told me there was no rooms. I than went outside on my phone and booked a room and went back to the lobby where I was checked in. Instead of telling us all rooms are booked the receptionist could have let me know you can go online and do it. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! As far as the rooms, they were basic hotel rooms.
