I booked through Priceline and found the place to be a great value. The indoor pool and free breakfast were great - eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc. and tons of nice pastries and unlimited coffee. The rooms had a microwave and refrigerator, plus a coffee/espresso maker, which I didn't use, since there was so much coffee in the lobby. Still a nice thought, though.
FYI, I stayed there the same day another other poster had wi-fi issues. My access was slow too, so I went to the front desk and was surprised to have the head of corporate sales come out to talk to me. He offered me his own computer, his conference room, or any kind of physical connection my device required to get my work done. He did this knowing I was a Priceline customer, which we all know usually makes you a third class guest at hotels.
Later on that night I noticed hundreds of people in the banquet room and there he was on the fringe working out the details with the client’s coordinator. He had that kind of responsibility yet treated me with the same importance as his corporate guests. Thanks Mitch Marron. I’ll definitely stay at Hills Point again.
P.S. A D’s Pizzeria and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Club (???) has really good Italian food and great pizza. It’s just across from the hotel exit, maybe a 75 yard walk, in case you plan on drinking.More
