Awesome food, great quiet patio. Live music on weekends.

There is ample parking available. The service was great and the place is frequented by travelling boaters.

After multiple enjoyable evenings dining at Aqua Sol, we decided to host our wedding dinner in their private banquet room. From start to finish, our experience with the establishment could not possibly have been more perfect.

The manager, Curt, was happy to give us a tour of the space and answer (quite a few) questions about the contract, menu, logistics, etc, even though our event was more than a year away at the time. Though we only acknowledged in passing that the dinner party would follow a wedding ceremony, Curt and his team went out of their way to ensure that the event was treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. We and all of our guests had an absolutely fantastic time, enjoying perfectly prepared buffet food and beverages as well as the lively music on the patio and impeccable customer service at every turn.

If you choose to host a private event at Aqua Sol, whether it be a wedding or something far more casual, you can look forward to: a reasonably priced private space with water views, a private entrance to the patio hosting nightly live music, and a private bar stocked exactly to your specifications; a wide variety of menu selections that will be prepared perfectly and served buffet or plated depending on your needs; and a team of highly professional servers that will treat your event as if it is the only thing happening in the world. We had an incredible time and look forward to our next opportunity to hold an event at Aqua Sol.

Diverse menu and nightly entertainment makes this a great "date night out". Live band talent has been hit or miss, however there is no cover. Food and drinks are a little pricey, but it's a great change of pace.

Started out with the Chesapeake Flatbread with crabmeat, absolutely delicious and we topped it off with the Clams & Chorizo which were also the best! Orange Roughy was our main course paired with the Dogfishead Firefly which was very tasty! Service was excellent Melanie did a great job! I would have rated 5 stars, but was charged twice for my meal which I'm still trying to resolve.

Located on the Summit North Marina at Lums Pond in Bear, Aqua Sol Restaurant is by far one of the more delightful places to dine in Delaware, inside or outside. It is a wee bit hard to find, so watch for the signs. It is definitely a hidden gem. There were lots of folks there, so the word is out!

The outside dining is exceptional, with a view of the marina and the C&D Canal. The décor inside is just as pleasant and the restrooms are very clean.

We chose the Caribbean Chicken Skewers ($8) from the Tapas menu. The grilled chicken was moist and the Mango Salsa was absolutely delicious, tasty spicy, but not hot. The Roasted Red Pepper & Crab Bisque includes the perfect amount of crab; a cup was just the right amount for $3.50.

For our meal, we chose Barbecue Ribs with a dark rum and Guava barbecue sauce that was exceptional. A knife was not needed, as the meat just fell off the bones. A small, delightful Cuban Pasta Salad accompanied the meal. Since I had the tapa, I only needed a half portion for $9.00, which was perfect. My husband chose the full portion Teriyaki Salmon served over Cuban Black Beans and Rice (full portion $16/half portion $8). It was cooked as requested and was absolutely delicious.

Some of the drinks are expensive, but well worth it, especially since you can order half portion entrees. The Miami Ice Tea that included rum, gin, etc. and cranberry juice, etc. ($9). It was a refreshing drink for a warm afternoon under our umbrella. Also, the Red Sangria ($7) was excellent.

On their dinner menu, they Paella, which we will try next time, while enjoying some musical entertainment with friends. All entrees are available either full or half portions.
The wait staff was exceptional, professional, helpful and friendly.
