The food was good. The service was good. We used the buy one, get the second half off coupon we received in the direct mail. It would be a little expensive without the direct mail coupon. We were told by our one friend that in her opinion the Glasgow IHOP has much better food than the one down in Dover. We never tried the on in Dover, so we cannot compare the two.

Always love Ihop and this was no different then any other that we have been to. It was on a Sunday and you will have at least a 10-15 min wait but it was no problem.

My husband and I visited the other morning for breakfast. Today I decided I wanted to try something other than the regular buttermilk pancakes. They had red velvet pancakes on the menu that caught my eye, but in the end I decided on the cinnastack. It is basically like a cinnabon--ooey gooey cinnamon filling between the pancakes and icing on top on pancakes. I thought they were great, even though they are smaller than the buttermilk pancakes. We also had sausage, eggs and hashbrowns which were good too. Our waitress was fairly fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean.

Overall, another great visit to the Ihop! I would definately visit again--and would order the cinnastack again! YUM!

My husband and I went to the Bear IHOP for the 1st time today, 2-23-10. It is located in the Fox Run shopping center. We arrived shortly after opening (around 7:05am). We were seated at a large booth with a window seat & given the menus.

After about 5 minutes, our waitress was back to take our order. We both decided to get shortstacks of pancakes and coffee. We also got a side of hashbrowns and a side of sausage links (4 links). Meanwhile, we sat & drank our coffee, while we waited for our breakfast. We were given 2 mugs and a carafe of coffee to use for refills. The coffee was OK today.

Within about 10 minutes, our meals were out to us. The pancakes were delicious. I love the butter pecan syrup that is one the table. It is sweet and buttery. My husband prefers the original. But, they also have strawberry and blueberry on the tabletop as well. The sausage links were soft and tasty. I prefer them a little more crispy on the outside, but the flavor was still good. Plus you get 4 links in a serving--perfect for sharing between 2 people. AND their hashbrowns are one of my favorites. They are shredded and are not too oniony or spicy. They are perfect, especially smothered in ketchup. YUM. My husband enjoys them as well!

Overall, we had a good dining experience at this IHOP today. The dining atmosphere was comfortable and bright. The interior is one of the nicests I have seen in the line of IHOPS. There even have a fireplace just inside the doorway. The booths are comfortable & spacious. The food was all warm & tasty. The portion sizes were decent and the prices were not bad. The service was for the most part fast and friendly. We will most likely visit this IHOP again and would recommend it to anyone seeking a decent breakfast in the Bear, DE area.

Note: IHOP also serves lunch and dinner items in addition to breakfast items.
