We stayed at the Days Inn and Suites Milford this past weekend for an event at Redden State Forrest. The good: The room was huge, clean, and boasted an actual kitchenette. The front desk staff was excellent - very friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was mostly as you would expect: Bagels/muffins, cereal, waffles, and they had some frozen eggs and sausage patties that you could microwave. The bad: The free wi-fi was an extremely weak signal that didn't reach our room, except for the occasional light brush that lasted seconds and went away. They overbooked the hotel for the parking lot and we were forced to park somewhere that wasn't a space (luckily we weren't towed). They were renovating the lobby so it was pretty torn up. You could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway, but luckily not in our non-smoking room. The ugly: They had to close the pool because a baseball team (the aforementioned overbooking) defiled it by someone having a BM in it.

Stayed here several times for the races at Dover. Always found it to be easy to get to since it is not too far from the race track. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Many places to eat near by. The morning breakfast is very nice with many choices to choose from.

Room Tip: We always stay on the first floor.
