My husband and I happened on The Pint at lunch time today. It was surprisingly good with a mix of Scottish, Irish and English pub food (ploughman's lunch, bangers and mash, scotch eggs and other things) in addition to the usual American bar food staples. I had cock a leekie soup which was the real deal - definitely house-made with big pieces of chicken and carrots in addition to barley and leeks. My husband had a turkey rueben - on nice marbled bread with good slaw and melted cheese - only downside was deli turkey meat. The fries are delicicious - definitely hand cut and well cooked. It was moderately crowded with mostly older folks at lunch on a Saturday - no idea what kind of crowd it attracts at night. Service was good and the setting is attractive.
