The front desk staff at our hotel near Newark (U of Del) recommended a restaurant to us and we set out to find it. While looking for it in the same strip shopping center, we saw what looked like a crowd going into another small store front. It was Amalfi's. We were glad we followed the crowd and had dinner there instead. The food was true blue Southern Italian, the portions large to enormous, and the service quick and efficient. Prices were very fair too. We enjoyed calamari, Sicilian pizza and a daily special of eggplant rolatini. Only downers: wish they had a license for wine and wish we could have taken our leftovers (we were traveling the next day, so no).
