“Really nice depending on what you like”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

Went here for the first time was was pleased. Expensive so unless you spend the whole day here I wouldn't go. Try to stay a long time to get your moneys worth even though its a small place there is still a good amount to do. My favorite part was the wave pool and the river the rafts take you around. Had a blast on that.

“Best Waterpark”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014

Spent the whole day at this waterpark - there was so much to do for all ages. This waterpark was so clean and the ladies in the restroom/locker room did a wonderful job keeping the floors dry. The staff is very friendly and had a wonderful day.

“Great place when it is hot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

Great place. Kids live it. The older they get, the longer they want to stay. Different slides and pools for all ages. Other activities as well from batting cages to bumper boats. Only 4 stars because prices are high and the kid that controls the bumper boats is a jerk.

“Water Fun for the Kids without the Sand”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

Jungle Jim's is a fairly small water park with mini golf, bumper boats batting cages and go karts outside of the park area. We only went to the water park. It is fairly pricey ($35 for adults and kids over 42". $25 for those below.) If you only plan on staying a few hours, try and go after 4. Prices drop $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

The kids over 42" have a blast; several slides, ropes, group raft slides, lazy river/ wave pool. It's small enough that if you get separated it's not too hard to find people and if it's not packed you can easily do the rides multiple times. The waves do get moving, so be aware for your little ones; just like the real beach, if they get knocked over, they have trouble getting up -- particularly when surrounded by bigger kids who have no awareness of how much space they take up with the inner tubes.

For those under 42", you are limited. They do provide free life jackets, a plus. If your child is very small (say a 20 lb 18 mo old, maybe bring your own... Small sizes are limited and may not be small enough.) I wish Jungle Jim's had pricing for the adult staying with the little ones... Paying $35 to stay in 3 basic areas is a bit steep.

There's a section off the lazy river/ wave pool for the little ones. A nice beach entry area with small slides, water squirting animals, etc. Off to the side, not near anything else, is a small splash pad area. I wish it was closer in to everything so you could see the rest of your family.

There are lots of large umbrellas covering tables and chairs. Lounge chairs out in the sun. Covered picnic areas. Paid lockers and small sundries (swim diapers, sunscreen, etc).

Changing areas are adequate, but not the cleanest... But have bathrooms, showers and benches. They start cleaning a half hour before close, so expect to change with the cleaning staff if you wait until right before close to get cleaned up.

Food is standard amusement park fare with a few extras... Sabra hummus/pretzel snack kit; black bean burger; some salads. All $4 and up. The seagulls will go after your food, even if you're sitting and eating it, so beware!!! You can bring in food/drink but no cooler, so you can't bring anything perishable.

The staff all seems very young, but there are a lot of them. Some are better at moving along the lines better than others.

All in all, the kids really loved it, and it's a nice chance of pace, particularly If it's not the best beach day.

“A great way to mix up!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

This was our first trip to Jungle Jims and we had a blast! We went on a Friday. It may be because the weekend crowd had not yet rolled in, but the longest we had to wait in any of the water slide lines was 10 minutes (and that was mostly the anaconda). The food was reasonably priced for an amusement park, with healthier options like salad or grilled chicken sandwiches. You cannot bring coolers into the park, but I did notice that people would bring their coolers, leave them in the car, leave the park to enjoy a picnic lunch just outside the park...if you are looking to save some money that is an option. We will visit again for sure! Kids had a great time, we had a great time!
