“Exceptional with New Paved Trail”
Reviewed 22 August 2014 via mobile

Walking or biking Gordons Pond has always been great. You are in the middle of a large preserve surrounded by nature and wildlife. Now that a new paved trail exists, this is a much more wonderful experience. The 2.6 mile trail extends from Gordons Pond over to Cape Henlopen State Park. The added trail allows you a much broader view of the preserve and allow that it holds.

“A beautiful and tranquil place to ride bikes.”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

It's a few miles from Rehoboth ave. But once you get there it is well worth it.

Only problem I had to turn back 1/2 way because there were no bathrooms.

“Great ride!”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Gordon's Pond trail is a great way to bike to Rehoboth from Lewes. Excellent views of dunes, pond and wildlife. We take the return trip on the Junction and Breakwater trail, which is more shaded and cooler, and now less people as more seem to be using Gordon's. Only warning is that on weekends it can get crowded especially entering north Rehoboth where packs of runners clog the bike lane and refuse to go single file, forcing you into the street. Really outstanding. Allow time to stop and take pictures and do some bird watching. Plus stop at Lingo's for a pastry reward!

“Beautiful morning bike ride”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

We rode from Port Lewes to Gordon's Pond, through Cape Henelopen State Park on the new and improved bike trail at about 8am. Though the trail was well used by walkers joggers and bikers, it was still a quiet and secluded feeling. The ramp to an over look on the edge of the pond is a lovely view of the pond with the ocean behind it.
