The Delaware Seashore State Park campground has been under massive construction in recent years. The bathrooms/showers have been remodeled and the water stays on and the temp is adjustable. The campsites are VERY CLOSE together weather your tent or trailer camping and there is no shade.
On the plus side you are directly on the inlet and can walk into the bay. Which means great sunsets. There is a short walk to the beach ( under the bridge) which I could imagine would be very long and uncomfortable in 90 degree heat lugging beach equipment. Trailers have water and electric hook-ups which make the fact that you could literally reach out and touch your neighbors camper more tolerable.
This campground is good for short stays and best in at off-peak times as it is not as crowded.
