The Avenue Inn is a fantastic hotel with great service and nice amenities for a reasonable price. While we were in Rehoboth, we also looked at a few other hotels in the area in the same price range, and the Avenue was head and shoulders above the others. We stayed in the King Jacuzzi room. The one big room had a king bed, a living room couch and coffee table setup, and a jacuzzi in the corner facing the television. There was also a balcony facing the street. The room itself was beautiful and really nice to have the extra space of the king room. The staff were really friendly and sweet, they really helped us a lot on some personal issues. The tv was nice and big with lots of cable channels. We also could access our netflix account, but it was really slow. I think the hotel would benefit from adding a roku so netflix access and renting latest movies could be easier.The internet in the room was fast enough to stream videos on your laptop. The hotel is a six minute walk away from the beach, definitely one of the closest hotels for the price range.They offer towels to bring to the beach with you. The breakfast was really nice and included both hot and cold items. They also had a wine and cheese hour and late night freshly baked cookies. The pool was indoor and didn't particularly interest us. But the sauna and jacuzzi were nice.
