We go to Dogfish Head yearly when we visit Rehoboth Beach for a week. We look forward to our visit every year but this year I had some difficulties. First we tried to go on a rainy afternoon around 3 PM and it was packed with an hour wait. We gave up quickly and ate at our condo. Later in the week, we went back at noon on a sunny day and there was plenty of open seats. We have always gone with young kids and in the past they had a nice activity page that kept them busy. This year it was just a coloring page that looks like it was copied from the Internet- very disappointing.

We really weren't happy when we first looked at the new menu, but everything we ate was delicious and impressed us.
Unfortunately, we were still missing our old favorite the Dogpile. They redid it and it's good, just not as good. Also, the pretzel appetizer had far too few pretzels. At Evolutions Brewing Company, (about an hour away) we had also gotten the pretzel appetizer and they only charge $.50 for each additional pretzel which was about 3 inches long and homemade. These were just little bites and we didn't think it was a good value.

Still we enjoyed our meal and will be back again next year.

We tried the new Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats for the first time since the old Brewpub closed. We are original 2007 customers and Dogfish Head faithful fans and were a little skeptical about the off centered new building and design. We stopped in for Friday night live music and were surprised about the very light crowd. The band was very good just way too loud with the concrete floor. We had late night menu items and honestly they were mediocre. Our server was tired and it showed. We stopped in again Monday for lunch and surprisingly the place was packed! We had a delicious burger and summer salad. Bar tender was uber friendly but the bar is oddly shaped unattractive wood. The fung shui is way off in the layout of the bar. We suspect when the rest of the patio is built and the old Brewpub is demolished the overall design will work better. The new bar has over 80 taps but they only had about 15 taps surprisingly none of the decorative Dogfish Head taps which everyone loves to see so you know which craft brew to order. Thus it appears the new Brewing Eats is not quite ready for primetime. We will wait a few months and check back to see Sam's progress.

Went here for dinner with family- 4 adults and 2 kids. The food was delicious! We especially liked the pork belly tacos with the tomato and cucumber salad on the side. The chicharones were delicious too! Wouldn't mind returning here again with adults only. The ambience was great if we were looking for a concert-like atmosphere. However during this trip we had 2 little ones in tow, and although they didn't mind the loudness of the music, it was hard for us to keep them in check through the noise. It wouldn't be a recommended place either if you're looking to conversate and catch up with others during a meal. But great place for a great time late at night with good food and drinks!

We were here 8/8/17. My family of 5 went in for lunch. This place does get busy! I recommend getting there early. We arrived before noon for lunch. We were sat right away. The pizza was amazing! My husband enjoyed his burger. Kids enjoyed the pizza as well. Service was a little slow by overall fine...as it started to get very crowded after 12. My husband and I also had a beer. Will go back next time we are in Rehoboth.

Ok its wicked crowded and noisy but their Mac and cheese appitizer with spicey wings was all we talked about the rest of our stay. Burgers are good and some salads. Great for families and general bar type fare. For our family it topped the list of places we want to come back too. Cost reasonable, wait wasn't too bad, nice booths and sports screens, beer selection. The Grilled Cheese sandwhich was also a stand out. So if you want comfort food at the beach.. come here.
