“Unique food with a friendly atmosphere”

Butternut squash bisque. Crab cakes with homemade tomato jam - it really works! Fresh fish. Love sitting at the bar with the regulars or a table with Spike the server. It's the beach with cool inventive dishes you might find in DC. It's nice during the week when things are slower but also great on weekends because unlike so many beach spots Nage does take reservations. Takes some work to find it off the beaten path but worth the trip.

“Our Hopes Were Dashed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2014

We reserved at Nage's in the hope that we would find another restaurant in So De that had decent food - there are only a few. Entering Nage's was the first disappointment. It was dark and in need of a face lift. The decor was bad. The food was not inspiring. My wife's dinner was average, at best French Onion Soup which was spicy and Salmon that was below par. My humus appetizer was ok and I had a fish burger that was memorable for several hours after and into the early hours of the morning. The drinks were weak. The service, however, was good. Not a great place. It certainly is overrated.

“Thought it would be better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014

This was recommended for dinner. I was surprised that it was not a little nicer and a little better. We were told to have reservations and that would mean we would be treated "differently". I don't know about that. While our waiter was fabulous the dinner was ok. Filet Mignon was on the menu so we tried it since our normal go to place is 1776 Steak house for that. I'm not sure what a better choice would have been. Their fries were a combo of potato and sweet potatoes...and those were positively delicious. In fact, I'd say addicting.

“way too salty”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2014

I had heard a lot about the place, so went their for an anniversary dinner. The mean looked nice, but tasted as though someone had emptied a box of salt on every item on my plate. As a result, everything tasted the same, like salt. With so many other choice in RB, I'll not likely return.

“Excellent on Route 1”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2014

We tried to get into Nage late last year, but were unsuccessful. So, it became our first dinner in Rehoboth for the 2014 season. Nage did not disappoint. It's a cozy, well-decorated little place on Route 1. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Their burgers are a particular standout.

If you're looking for a dinner spot in Rehoboth this year, and you can get in, you'll get a great meal.
