1. 2nd & wilmington -- bulleit bourbon, yzaguirre dry vermouth, lucano amaro, cherry liqueur

We were in a bit of a bind. We wanted to try three different restaurants in Rehobeth but we only had one night. We decided to do three different courses at three different restaurants.

We decided to have drinks at 208 Social because out of all of the bars and restaurants we reviewed – this was the only one who truly understood whiskey and had a whiskey focused menu. A good mixologist who knows their whiskey is not an easy thing to find in a small vacation town but we sure found one!

We will be back when we return – this time we will order dinner and stay longer. We would have changed our plans and stayed here and had we not had reservations.

Thank Rick C

The decor is simple and homey - hardwood floors, a few flowers on each table, several small-ish rooms. The soundtrack was awesome - Spotify bluegrass covers of pop and rock songs. Who knew? Our server, Brian, was a temporary transplant from New Orleans so very experienced and a foodie. Craft cocktails were delicious and they had one of our favorite roses by the glass, Bernard Griffin's Sangiovese Rose. Grilled romaine salad was fantastic, just the right amount of char. The baby artichoke salad was divine - basil, ricotta, proscuitto, olives. The menu has enough variety for all tastes. Add it to your list when visiting Rehoboth Beach.

Do Not judge this place by the outside! We've been there for dinner [delicious Brussels sprouts salad and a beet salad appetizers] huge portion of Scottish salmon perfectly cooked, numerous nicely seared yummy scallops, and an amazing cookie/ice cream dessert. but we returned for the happy hour specials--reduced price appetizers [two orders of clams in white wine sauce, just right, another beet salad as good as the first, 2 orders of extremely lightly battered fresh shrimp, the most tender calamari I've ever had, 1 beer, and 1 wine]. Now get this $43 for ALL that, along with speedy friendly service. This is in Rehoboth, where one decent meal generally runs that much. Plus not crowded. We will return sooooooon
