“Disappointed this time”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

We had a table for six, this is one of our favorite restaurants whenever we visit Bal Harbour.
Something was amiss today, I do not know if the chef or the kitchen was too busy but my minute steak was certainly not a minute steak, it was a thick chunk of steak, over cooked and tough and served with overfried french fries. I always thought a minute steak was supposed to be paper thin and flash grilled. Another guest's lamb chops, whilst tasty, were very tough and an omelette ordered with french fries arrived with a lot of greenery instead and had to go back, The service, as always was good, no complaints, but very disappointed with our visit to-day, hope it was just a
"one off".

“Cold food”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

The menu was brief and food average. The short ribs with potatoes arrived at room temperature. The mussel were average. The cheese plate was very good. The waitress was not helpful in talking about entrees. She basically explained that she had not tried these. Would not go back.

“What a disappointment! ”
Reviewed 13 February 2014 via mobile

We went there with my husband kids and a very good friend of mine.

The place is very French bistro.

The waiter was pretentious, too busy to waiter on us. We waited for two expresos and a lemon sorbet for soooo long.

Love French food but didn't enjoy this lunch. The food was average. It's a shame.

“Needs Gordon Ramsey makeover!”
Reviewed 27 January 2014 via mobile

What an absolute drain of well earned funds with less than zero return.... Do not eat the muscles... Apparently it's acceptable to serve them overcooked and potentially could make you sick. Powdery, full of dirt And not cleaned at all.

Worst of all if you complain the server sends the manager over to look you up and down and then make out as if the food is fine and the chef is happy with the food.

Maybe that's the explanation for a queue next door at the Carpaccio restaurant (a proper establishment) and no waiting time and a lot of spare tables at this "restaurant".

Was a chore to have the uneaten and inedible food removed unwillingly from the cheque at the end and even then they left half on still.

Pathetic excuse for an eatery. Typical mall restaurant ... If you want a real meal to elsewhere where you won't feel robbed and insulted.

“Place Needs Help”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

We unfortunately had very poor service and an unprofessional excuse for this situation. We waited 45 minutes for our food, when our food arrived it was cold, it had potential of being good but it was COLD. The wait staff and kitchen staff have to be prepared, they caused the back log.
Really not worth the time or money. The hostess was the worst, she thought she was a model to be discovered.
