This venue of understandable yet amazing science is the best I've ever encountered.
The automated displays are almost never broken or cheap, the demonstrations are mind-boggling and fun.
My 2-year-old granddaughter fell in love with the place immediately as did my 33-year-old son and his father. There are interactive displays that entice everyone to open his/her mind to new possibilities and each has either audio or written explanations about what is being experienced - a truly fun learning experience.
Children's art adorns the walls in the passageways and volunteers are always present to lend additional assistance for anyone with a handicap or someone who simply "doesn't get it".
Of all the "children's museums" I have visited, this one absolutely rocks.
