“First Time Customers”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

This past Saturday was the first time for my entire party of 7 persons and the consensus was that it was very good. The food, service and ambiance was better than expected and we will be returning to this fine establishment.

“Delicious!!!!”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

We had not been to Uncle Tai's for a long time, only because there are SO VERY MANY great restaurants here in Boca Raton!!! However, this is still my favorite Chinese restaurant in Boca!!!! The restaurant has class, the servers are all dressed professionally and are very polite and helpful. Our waitress allowed us to enjoy our bottle of wine comfortably before ordering our favorite dish----the Crispy Beef!!!!!!! It is delicious, a VERY good sized portion, and, as the menu describes, it is crispy! She did recommend that we not eat the peppers, it is wonderfully spicy without eating them. Uncle Tai's fried rice came with many good sized chunks of chicken, however, the rice was white and did not look like the fried rice I am used to getting elsewhere, but it was very tasty, maybe just a little bland tasting for me. We will definitely continue to dine at Uncle Tai's, after all they are an "institution" here, having been in business, in the same location, for so VERY many years.

“Good Food Poor Seating”
Reviewed 24 April 2014 via mobile

There tonight with party of 4 and were seated inside by open door. All good till it became obvious part way through our meal that food for outside tables went thru that door and bussing came back in that door. Had to duck some trays and actually had a cart of dirty dishes run into my chair. Question as to why they sat us there (the place was not full) brought a reply we had asked for window seating..(liar, liar pants on fire) not even an acknowledgement of the problem or an "I'm sorry."..
On the plus side the food was good especially the hot and sour soup. If you go don't let them seat you near the front window

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

You can sit inside with upscale surroundings and white tablecloths, or outside and enjoy the hubbub of people walking around the square. Food is usually very good, although on the higher side. Our favorite dishes are sautéed bok choy, Hunan eggplant and Uncle Tai's crispy beef (be sure to ask for extra sauce on the side).

“Good Quality Family Owned”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

This place is a Boca Raton Food Landmark, Over the years they have gone through some Head chef changes. The orginal menu is a classic select items such as crispy beef and uncle tais fried rice have never dissappointed. The recipes are one of a kind I believe they have had a hard time keeping one head chef to man the ship sort of speak thats my guess for the poor expierences of previous travelers. Not any reason to not give it a try I truly reccommend it.
