The rooms were infact clean and spacious with a separate living room and a little kitchenette between the living room and the bedroom - but that was the give away!!

You could get a buffet breakfast with a hot option and eggs cooked to order etc. but there after you were either starved or had to give the vending machine a go. You could not get a meal at all until the next morning, but you could get crisps, chocolate and soft drinks from the vending machine.

At 5.30 to 7.30 they had happy hour - drink as much as you like for 2 hours - apart from the wine it was all watered down, and if you wanted a drink after 7.30 you could not buy one for love or money. You couldn't even get a meal!!

The nearest restaurant which was within the same complex, was the only way you could get a bottle of wine or a beer to take back to the hotel. You could obviously eat there but it was very expensive for a night after night diner.

The website is not fully explained and totally misleading.

There was a small pool but their always seemed to be either gardeners with very noisy power tools on the go OR screaming kids as there was nothing else to do OR thunderstorms.

This place is like a Travelodge but worse as a Travelodge tends to have a good pub next door.

It's in the middle of no where with only one entertaining feature - the lake - 2 swans, lots of fish to feed with the breakfast rolls, and iguana & a turtle or 2 - that's the best bit about this hotel.

Stayed here end of April for 2 nights with my wife on our trip around Florida. Having had a great time and fine hotels ,all booked after checking reviews on TA, I would say this one was the best by a small margin, near main highways but far enough away not to be too noisy. Hotel in nice grounds, trees and plenty of free parking . Good reception, lobby with water feature and palm trees leading out to lovely pool with lounging and seating area under foliage cover. Cocktail bar with free drinks 6 to 7- 30 (thanks to the girls for good service) a good way to meet fellow guests to exchange views with a mix of business and tourists and to relax . I would reccomend booking a room at the rear of the hotel which has a balcony overlooking the lake with fountains, great to sleep or rest , doors open with fresh air and not to have to rely on air con. Suite with lounge area, settee, chair, coffee table, TV, writing desk, nice lighting, small kitchenett area, fridge, sink ,micro, tea and coffee. Bathroom, not large but adequate good shower pressure. Seperate bedroom, decor, beds and bedding excellant, TV. Everthing spotless and good standard. Breakfast, incl in room price, was 1st class everthing you could wish for and hot cooked to order eggs etc. Restaurant next to hotel called 'City Fish Market' specialising in fresh fish and overlooking the lake is not to be missed the food, atmosphre, live music and professional staff made it memorable, it is adviseable to book , we were there on Sat night and nearly lost out, it was packed but service was quick (thank you Holly our server) There are other restaurants same side as hotel, need to drive. All in all a great time I wish we could have stayed longer. A big thank you to managment and staff. Will return.

We were pleasantly surprised with the location, cleanliness, suite furnishings and overall service. We were suspicious when we booked due to the reasonable rate and were surprised at the excellent value for the money. Ample parking and nice surroundings although lake side rooms would be quieter as they do not face the Florida Turnpike. The hot cooked to order breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely return but would not recommend it for families due to the size of the suites.

Everything about this hotel works. There are flaws(ingress/egress and bathroom size), but they just do it right here.

Nice rooms, clean, quiet AC, two rooms, nicely decorated, good gym. Very good free breakfast. We were visiting our parents close to the property and we were so happy with this place. All employees are very nice, quiet at night and not too expensive. Used a AAA rate and was thrilled. Definitely go back again.

This was a nice hotel, with easy parking, a full breakfast buffet and clean rooms. Overall, the staff were nice and helpful.

During the weekday the buffet was busy and had service was slow, but on Saturday the restaurant staff were much more efficient.

The room was a suite with two beds, a small kitchen and sitting area with a couch and two chairs. They were not my favorite beds, too soft for me and I tended to sink, and I'm only a little over 110 pounds! My husband, on the other hand, liked the beds.
