Except for the most expensive restaurants, most of the restaurants we go to often have reduced the portion size and the quality as prices have been steadily rising.
Deli On Rye has managed to find a smaller rye bread loaf which makes the meats they roll up and place on that mini-bread look normal. The taste of their corned beef and pastrami are virtually "bland." Even the potato salad has less taste than it should. The people are nice and they try hard, but I think this "New Normal" might work for kids who don't know how things used to taste. If you live in east Boca Raton and you have to have a hot pastrami sandwich, I guess this place will do, but that's about it.
