I have dined at Red's once, and will say that everyone in our party of four enjoyed their meals. I had the mixed seafood steamer (cant recall the actual name) which is served in a pitcher and is a wonderful variety (snow and king crab, oysters, mussels, shrimp, etc) for a fair price. The prices fir most items are on the higher end of average. This is by no means a fine dining establishment, which I don't believe they claim to be ( just adding this due to some previous reviews). The service was decent, but nothing that stood out as above average.
One thing that I must add as a negative- I ordered a Miami Vice (a frozen drink made up of a Piña Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri layered in a glass) the server told me they can not make them because they only have one blender. Right away, several solutions come to my mind.... As I'm trying to tell the lady the drink doesn't need to be layered, another server came over and very loudly began giving me the same explanation, but very defensive, as if I was screaming at her coworker. We were not "early bird" dining on a budget. Our bill was over $300 dollars. Any restaurant that can make over a $75 check average for one guest should be able to figure out how to make two simple drinks combined into one glass! Their servers should also practice proper etiquette ( or common sense!). Overall, it was a good experience, and I would return. I would have rated them a four star if the drink incident wasn't so unacceptable for a quality restaurant.
