Enjoyed the coffee and sweets, has a young adult crowd. Looks to be a fun place for them. Have made a few trips there and seems to always to be consistent. Would like to see more pastry choices.

A great place to hang out have a coffee and a snack ( the brownies are a killer) and just relax. get you soda in a old fashioned glass bottle. All ages are confortable here. My teens enjoy the barn. Life music on Saturdays is nice. Was there for the Local Harmony CD release party. Great music. Chairs tables couches invite to stay.

I have been fortunate to patronize this establishment on several occasions. As a died-in-the-wool Starbucks fan, I was sceptical at first of the coffee, but the Brooksville Starbucks had closed, so I gave it a try. Well..... their coffee beats Starbucks all the way around!!! The coffee is smooth and full bodied, and the soy milk latte is a foamy delight! Their food is equally wonderful. The bread is probably the best I've had, and they bake it themselves daily. Being a vegetarian, it's not always easy to get a quick healthy meal, but Coffee Barn comes through on all accounts. The Vegetarian Wrap is delicious, loaded with hummus and veggies, on that wonderul bread!
And the wait staff as delightful. Young people with a soft, kind attitude and lots of manners. The decor is minimalist library, comfy and not over-done. And unlike my other fav Starbucks, it's quiet enough to work here and not have to shout over the music! So happy to have you in our town!

Fortunately, it's not Starbucks prices for coffee, and the choices appear plenty for coffee lovers.
I don't really get the "bakery" part as I haven't seen a pastry case or experienced the scents of a typical bakery. The menu offers a few interesting sandwiches with prices slightly higher than expected. The bland interior decor is somewhat uninviting, as is the counter personnel. They are kind, but lack any personality and enthusiasm that makes you happy to be there, but it does fit well with the lunch in a library experience. The food was pretty good, but the place just doesn't make me feel happy. Bring a book and immerse yourself in the experience of Coffee (in a) Barn and Bakery in Brooksville....

Super slow service. Expensive for what you get. Not worth the time or money. Lots of kids just hanging out.
