L'Arpent Vert
Ranked #1 of 1 Marminiac B&B and Inns
Reviewed 17 February 2011

We have now twice stayed with Derek and Rachel on our trips through the Dordogne. Each time has been a delight. The first time, Derek kindly drove us to a restaurant we had been dying to try in a nearby village, and came and picked us up after, so we had no concerns over sampling the wonderful French wines, and took us to another nearby village Fete on the way home. The rooms were wonderful, the pool fabuloust, and the little village of Marminiac a great jumping off point for exploring the area.

The breakfasts were great, and the hospitality the same. I would unhesitatingly recommend staying here.

L'Arpent Vert is a lovely Bed and Breakfast in the beautiful little village of Marminiac in the Lot, France. Run by an English couple, Rachel and Derek, the home is situated near many interesting villages in a lovely setting. Set on a property of more than an acre, with a lovely pool and trampoline that would be enjoyed by kids and adults alike, this property provides a wonderful jumping off point for exploring the area. This is our second visit, and we have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Reasonably priced, and highly recommended. ... more   less
