“Nice Get Away”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

Jetty Park has made some great improvements over the last few years and they done a good job. The bathrooms are clean and modern, sites are improved and they've improved security.

It is a fun location because of Pt. Canaveral, it is a short walk to watch the cruise ships come and go and all other kinds of boats, alot of military. The beach is easily accessed through gates. Several restaurants are within a two minute drive.

Definitely a place to stay.

So I pulled up to the gate to make a reservation and was told I could not come in the park with my dog. But if I had a campsite i could come in with the dog and because I didn't have my camper with me at the time I must not have been camping That is there thinking and they want to charge you 5.00 just to come in and look at the campsites. Who comes up with this

This was a very family oriented campground. It had full hookup and the bathrooms were plentiful. The general store was nice and carried anything you may have forgotten. (It was a little pricey) If you are looking to go on the victory cruise gambling boat, they have a shutlle to take you back and forth. The beach was about a mile away. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back.

After visiting a lot of crowded beaches with more people than sand, it was a delight to be on the beach at Jetty Park. The campground is a short walk from the beach and from fishing and cruise ships sailing out of Port Canaveral. Shopping is not far away, and it is close to Kennedy Space Center and Orlando.

We were there over July 4th and watched firework displays from the channel and down the beach. You can walk down the beach and gather shells, wade in the water to Cocoa Beach and back, or just sit under an umbrella enjoying the ocean sounds and prime view of the Atlantic Ocean.

The staff helped us extend our two day stay to a week, and were friendly and informative. It was a bit crowded over the holiday, and some campsites are not laid out well, but is would recommend staying at Jetty Park for a relaxing vacation.

This place is remarkable in every possible way.

The only bad thing is the fact that some spots do not have the leveled site for the RV. And the water hookup is in the wrong side of the RV.

No pool is available and the park should think in building one....

For the rest, the location is great with a perfect beach that you can walk to and rent surf gear, and all the necessary things for a good day at the beach.
The restrooms are clean and the showers to be used without doubts.
Service and people are great and it's a perfect place to park the "bus" and stay as many days as you want.

Also, being near to KSC and the Cocoa beach will keep you busy.......

Excellent RV campground right on the ocean. The cost for camp sites is reasonable. There is a variety of camp site options, some very shaded for the hot summers in Florida. We love it there especially the beach and watching cruise ships go by every afternoon!

We have camped in the primitive tent area with the Boy Scouts several times, and always enjoyed our trips. For our baby's first campout in the summer, we chose a cabin. The AC was fantastic and having a private bathroom was perfect! I had a tough time finding photos of the inside of a cabin (for packing reasons), so I did a review with photos on my new blog:
http://playfullyprosaic.wordpress.com/2013/06/21/review-of-a-jetty-park-port-canaveral-fl-cabin/. Hope it helps!

Room Tip: We stayed in the very shaded cabin #329, which is steps from the playground.
