“A Taste of France”
Reviewed 25 January 2013

I was hear in 2012 and again this year. The owner is very sweet. the first visit was for
dinner with friends. I had the Rack of Lamb and it was great.
I went for breakfast and had the Crepe with ham. It was very nicely presented and delicious.
(just a tad to salty)
I will go back and try some other items on the menu.

“ooh-la-la”
Reviewed 25 January 2013

This is a beautifully decorated store front restaurant in a ho-hum shopping area. They serve three meals daily: breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have always had a wonderful breakfast but are promising ourselves to return for dinner. The food is served elegantly and we always enjoy our visit here, Tres bien.

“OK”
Reviewed 30 December 2012

Decor/ambiance: hideous. Ikea shelves filled with overpriced plastic crap, a big bamboo tree lit up with plastic toucans on it, oil paintings in one corner and posters and mirrors in the others, instruments hanging on the wall, and a random meat slicer with a big "no touching" sign on it. Not to mention the huge tacky light up Eiffel towers.

Service: a moody, unhappy woman runs the front of house alone. Though the restaurant was surprisingly empty during what should be a busy time, she seemed visibly annoyed by our arrival and couldn't even force a smile.

Food: if it wasn't for the food this place would get 1 star. Pastries were great, goat cheese crepe was overly acidic and vinegary for some reason, omelette was good, and sweet crepes were delicious. Coffee was decent, but overpriced.

Overall good food with a terrible front of house. Perhaps we caught her on a bad day, but I wasn't surprised that the place was empty. After all, who wants to be treated like a nuisance?

“A quiet place for Breakfast”
Reviewed 27 December 2012

My wife and I stopped here after church for breakfast. If you want a nice, quiet breakfast with attention to detail, then this is the place for you. Why go to First Watch, stand in line and put up with the noise when you can go right here on the Cape for a touch of class. Oh, and I told my wife to stay away from the pastries in the display case, but she wouldn't listen!!

“Nice getaway to France”

Reminded us of the bistros we would frequent in while in Paris....lovely food, great atmosphere. We all had the Filet Mignon della Mama, which was perfectly prepared, tender and delicious. Definitely a repeat stop for us.
