“Great Menu Selection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

Thought we'd give Red's a try after seeing it advertised in the paper. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. They have a great selection of items on the menu also have a two for $25 special that they run. My husband tried the prime rib and I ordered the BBQ ribs. Very good portions. Our waitress, Rachael, was very professional and informative. Definitely would recommend.

“Newer eatery in the Cape”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

We went to try the new Red's in Cape Coral which is much closer to our home than the Pine Island location. Went around 4pm on Mother's Day to avoid any crowds and decided to eat outside due to beautiful weather - inside was busy but no waiting. They have a special menu between 3-9pm and we both had prime rib which was excellent. The sides of potatoes and broccolitini? were good. We also had Boom Boom shrimp appetizer (very good). Best part was the price at 2 for $25. We will go back again.

“Like the one on Pine Island better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

I loved Reds on Pine Island and I was so excited that they were opening in Cape Coral. Unfortunately it has been very disappointing thus far. Cape Coral has the better atmosphere as the one on Pine Island is rather dark and gloomy, but the food and service on Pine Island made up for that. Here the service and food is just so-so. Not bad but certainly not as good as what came out of the kitchen on Pine Island.

“Table side dish scrape”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

While I've experienced exceptional table side dish preparation and presentation, I've never before experienced table side dish scrape at the conclusion of a meal. I asked the waitress if she had been trained to do this and she said the manager/owners "expected" them to do this.
We then spoke with the GM who listened to our comments as we very politely suggested that it seemed "unprofessional" and second that it seems inefficient for the wait staff to be bussing dishes as they needed to be washing their hands as each table was cleared. His only response to our sharing these concerns was to say "Thank You for your comments" and to immediately walk away. We are Cape Coral residents and will not return to this restaurant in the future nor will we recommend it to others. So sad to see yet another CC restaurant fail because of non responsive and irresponsible management!

“Huge selection of fresh seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

Reds has opened a new place on Cape Coral. Food is fresh and service good. Tons of selections with a huge menu. Dined here several times this winter. We also visited the original restaurant on Pine Island. I think the food there is a little better than the Cape Coral location. Must try the boom boom shrimp. Delicious. They open at 4 pm and fill up quickly. Nice early bird menu too.
