I hope the owners of the property read this review. Our family enjoyed staying at this property, but I am extremely annoyed with Vacanza rental management. I have rented several properties in Florida previously, and have had to pay additional fees for to heat the hot tub and pool. For this property they bill you for your electricity use after the fact, put the charges on to you credit card. When we arrived at this property we were met by one of the Vacanza Reps (who was quite nice) she told me the weekly bill for the electricity was usually around $60-75 which is higher than the rates I am used to paying, but I figured the hot tub and pool would definitely cause more consumption. When I got the my credit card bill Vacanza charged us $163 for the week, and as it turned out they charged a premium over and above the going rate. We even turned off the heat for the hot tub and pool at night and the outside temperature never got lower the low 70' during the day and was reasonable during the nights. So to expect a bill that was more double than what the estimate I had been given took me back, and got no adequate response to my complain from Marie at Vacanza management.
There was no one the to meet us to kind of show us around.alot of the lights didn't work. There was a cieling fan in one bedroom that was broke and rattling. The pool was not warm or ready for us. Thats all my grandchildren waited for was to get in that pool. We got there at 5:30 Saturday night.ready to enjoy are pool. I called the manager and got a voice mail. She finally got a hold of the next day and said that she would go over and get the pool going and would stop by monday morning to show us the rest of the things we need to know.We got home that night still know warm pool.She came over and couldn't get it going said she would call pool man.She also couldn't get wi-fi going.finnally worked and we still had no internet all week.Pool man came fixed pool but said it would take a day to heat up.One tv was very old no cable and about 20 channels. Other tv new never got it working.wheneaver we called with a problem we got a voice mail. Pool is beautiful if it worked. Better service and a lot of updating it might not be so bad.I wouldn't trust this company though..
