We accidentally found this Inn by walking around Cedar Key. It is our favorite place to stay in that area. The rooms are just like home!! The owner is an interior decorater and the rooms show it. We love to go to the bar in the old hotel where the locals go and we have met some really nice people. We met fishermen who had to become clammers after net fishing was banned. Cedar Key's income was from fishing. We found a local pottery business with a small sign that was interesting. Our favorite room is SunKist, but we have stayed in several. We stop on our way to Florida. It is out of the way but we love it.
You can walk all around the town and just feel safe. The whole town is quaint.
