We had to delay our boat ride for a couple of days due extremely windy conditions, but the wait was worth it. Beautiful day, blue skies, playful dolphins and lots of local information. This trip is well worth the $26/person.

We had a blast on a perfectly timed airboat ride. So beautiful riding over marsh at sunset with birds flocking and feeding. Like a National Geographic special. And the pods of dolphins. What a super experience. So stunning it brought my wife to tears.

We took the launch out the Seahorse Key with them this weekend because the key was open to the public for the Seafood Festival. Even though we were shuttled out there and back the Captain took time out to tell us a little history of the other keys around. Very nice. They also do 2 hour tours of the island and other keys wihch is awesome, we took this tour last year on our trip to Cedar Key. Just great people to deal with!!

We enjoyed this tour for the afternoon. The guide -captain was knowledgeable and told a lot about the islands in this area. She did not talk too much to get boring! The boat was covered with a canopy to protect from the sun. This is a relaxing boat tour where you may get to see the dolphins which we did on our day out. Our boat captain showed us how the dolphins like to ride the wake from the boat and we enjoyed the show they performed! It is a really nice way to spend an afternoon learning some history in a fun and relaxing way. It was also interesting to see the various birds of the area and how they are protected during certain times of the year when the boats aren't allowed in their area. It is well worth the money to take this tour!

We booked this trip to look at the islands which make up Cedar Key in more detail. We booked with Tidewater due to the reviews on here but also because their boat has a canopy over the top, which a lot of boats do not. The welcome, payment process were as relaxing as Cedar Key prides itself with. Capt. Tom was our guy for the journey, his knowledge of local history was really great, also his knowledge of the bird life (plus snakes, I won't forget that!!) was really really good. He even got some dolphins to play with the boat which was a memory which will stay with us forever. If you want to learn about the area, see some beautiful sites and have fun, this is well worth the money. And for someone who can feel a little sea-sick, I was totally fine on this tour, no worries at all.
