First visit to CedR Key and stayed at Sunst RV ... Will have to say no complaints!! We states at lot 8 had a great water view even saw dolphins! Talked to a few of the people who live at the park were very nice and helpful when we pulled in and hooking up to leave...it's like a family atmosphere...will absolutely stay again!! My family rented two water front lots (4/5). Camped for the entire week. The staff was very friendly, the fishing was some of the best around, very clean. Just relaxed all week. It is like taking a step back in time of slower days. Sunset Isle RV is one of the hidden treasures of Florida.

Sunset Isle RV Park (and Ada Blue Cafe) are owned by the best people on the face of the earth. Bruce and Roberta are so accommodating and helpful. Going to the RV park is like taking a trip back to the 1950's. It is so charming and quaint. Do not pass up the opportunity to drop by and say hello and have a delightful meal. Roberta is the best cook around...try the brocolli salad!!!!

only thing that keeps this place from a five is closeness of sites,,but who cares!! friendliest place we have been, i pulled in and due to my jacks not working needed to move to another site, no problem,,, then, i discovered i had a flat.. had a half dozen residents all trying to help, got a local guy,, andy, owner of the NAPA store,, came and changed it at a very resonable price. good breakfast at the diner, if not for doc appointments, wouldn"t leave.. coming back?,,, absolutly!!

I arrived for one week, that was three months ago.
Cozy, quiet, quaint. Immaculate private showers and bathrooms.
I'm a full time, solo rv'r and found Sunset Isle to be safe, very friendly and great BBQ!
During the winter, the regular snowbirds have enough musical talent in camp to have twice weekly live blue brass in the club house. Weekly pot lucks. Movie night. An easy one mile stroll to "downtown" Cedar Key. Pet Friendly. GREAT sunset location. Bring your kayak and you bike!
Yeah, the lots are smallish, but some of rigs are painfully large and getting larger.

What a dump! We were very specific about a 50amp spot. I even called the 'nice' lady back to make sure. She lied, said "the whole park had been re-wired". Well! The poor guy behind burnt his inverter out running a 30amp (of course, none of us thought anything about it at the time), then we got home and low and behold our inverter is shot after a two day stay. They talk about the golf carts (we brought our own) and then tell you that you can't ride them on the road to town without a vehicle tag! Where are you gonna ride to? Around in circles in the campground? Bathrooms???? Buwahahaha.. Glad I have a motorhome with blackout curtains. Seriously we were on top of each other. And quiet time is 10:00p. Don't go there to have any fun with friends. And your reservation is non-refundable... now you know why!!! We will stay in a condo again.. Leave the motorhome at the farm.

Another great winter spent at Sunset Isle and Ada Blue Cafe. Love the friendliness of our fellow campers we have made such great friends! Pot lucks, movie nights, yoga classes, bingo and more gave us a chance to meet and make such good friends. We like the new clean laundry room, the huge fireplace in the clubhouse, the ice machine on site and Ada Blue Cafe! Fantastic food that is homemade and never disappoints! We want to come back as work campers next year! Fred & Anita, Bill & Cathy, Steve, Sharon, Dale and his cordial wife Laura, Lori they are all fantastic!!
I can't imagine not being able to open an awning or use our slide out since when we made our reservation Bill was so specific about helping select the site that fit our rig perfectly. He went as far as to help another RV'er park late one evening when he was out walking his dog.
