We were there for 3 nights Wed-Sat over Spring Break. This was our first visit to Clearwater Beach. We had a Junior oceanview suite. This room was great size for our family of 5. We were on the 10th floor (rm 1002) and had amazing views with a good sized balcony. The pool is small but worked fine for us. The private beach is great however they really need to consider roping off the one section so the boats don't anchor next to swimming guests. I thought it was odd the beach in front of quality hotel was roped but not in front of Hampton. I did notice the loud music that came from neighboring hotels but it didn't keep us awake. It was annoying if you wanted to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean but I was on vacation and easy to look past it. The walk to Pier 60 is about 15 minutes. Not bad at all.

Breakfast was great. Kids loved making their own waffles. We ate at Jimmys fish house which has amazing sunset views. Service was sketchy but food was good. Also Saltys across the street...Great food and service. We played mini golf across the street at Captain Blighs and did the Thriller boat tour which we highly recommend.

We will definitely be back and will recommend this property to others.

Thank you for staying with us at the Hampton Inn & Suites at Clearwater Beach! It certainly sounds like you took in all the sights and amenities of the area! We are happy to see you truly enjoyed our hotel, and all that comes with it! We work directly with the Quality Beach Resort, and choose to rope off one section to allow for swimmers in one section, and all others in the other so we can cater to all of our guests and residents! We would love to take care of you again very soon! Please reach out to me directly so I can personally make your reservations and ensure another great stay!

We arrived late on Thursday night and immediately Luis advised us as we checked in we could go to order food at evys.... not much of a choice for our picky 11 year old and we were given a few local options, great tacos late night right across the street. I had every concern addressed immediately by the attentive staff at the front desk, and Rhonda took great care to see we were comfortable. At Evys Stan and Gina were the best! Attention to our every need and at the same time non intrusive, what a gift! The best place we’ve stayed at in a long time .... I can not say enough good things... beds very clean and comfortable, our room attendant left a towel animal on our bed and the best sunset on Clearwater beach!!

A very nice hotel with a small, semi private beach. Hotel was close to stores and restaurants and just a short walk (5 minutes) to Clearwater public beach. Free breakfast was nice, but just your standard fare. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice rooftop bar with outdoor seating and night time ambience. I would definitely stay here again when staying in Clearwater.

This was our second time staying at this hotel for Phillies Spring Training. We had a great experience in 2017, but this year we ran into a few problems.

First, like another reviewer posted - we had issues with hot water. Issues in the morning, issues at night. Paying the rates we did, hot water should be available when needed. It's basic. We called the front desk the first time it happened and we were told "maybe someone else taking a shower at the same time"...? Next time it happened we visited the front desk and the person on-duty did say they were having problems with it. If there is an ongoing problem with the hot-water supply, long-term solution is to have it corrected. On-the-spot solution would be to offer something to the guest to compensate for their inconvenience. Room credit? Points adjustment?

I really can't comment on the beach amenities because we only really used the pool in the early evening. Its a nice pool area, but either this hotel is now attracting more of the "Spring Break" crowd, or maybe they allow guests from other hotels to use their pool. Either way, a few times my son and husband had their pool time cut short because of the behavior of some of the other patrons. Its doesn't seem like anyone is on duty to make sure things don't get out of control.

Other than those items, this was a good hotel. It is new, clean, and in a convenient location! On-site breakfast is always a plus, too. The bar area has a great view of the sunset!

Tip- if you park a car onsite, you can call the front desk or valet ahead of time and they will have your car waiting for you- this was a huge timesaver!

Thank you for staying with us at the Hampton Inn & Suites - Clearwater Beach! During the Phillies spring training, is actually the peak time of the year for Clearwater Beach as spring break is happening. We do have staff on property to handle any issues regarding the pool, and do our best to have the pool swept multiple times per day for any issues. We are constantly making improvements on the hotels amenities to include new keycard access gates, and water pressure installation to fix any problems with hot or cold water. We do sincerely apologize for falling short on those expectations, however appreciate the great feedback! We are also happy to see you enjoyed several of our other amenities! We would love to take care of you again and deliver a perfect type of stay, and deliver those expectations. Please reach out to me directly so I can personally make your reservation and ensure that great stay!

First time at Clearwater Beach. Stayed a couple nights without our child and enjoyed the mini vacation. This hotel was wonderful! We had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and even under the stress of multiple phone calls during our check in, Jamie remained in good spirits. It’s Spring Break, so patience in Florida goes a long way!!
The pool was quaint, but adequate. Heated, but still refreshing. The small private beach was lovely though at times felt crowded. I thought the 2 chairs, table, umbrella deal for $20/day was reasonable. For a snack or drink the Tiki Bar was convenient, but food was mediocre. The service was stretched between 2 hotel pools and the beach, so finding a server was sometimes a challenge. Rae had a great attitude though and always smiled.
Nice area with unexpected small grocery right across the street. Also had a couple t-shirt/sundry shops very close. Putt putt golf across the street as well.
We used our HH points for a basic room, and even though it faced the street, you can see from the photos that it was still a great view!
Highly recommend this property!
