“Wonderful Week in Sunny Florida!”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

We stayed in Parker Manor Resort for an entire week and loved it. In deciding where to stay I did a lot of research since we had never stayed in the area. When I decided where to book, I spoke with Dawn on several occasions as I thought of questions. She was always friendly and more than happy to answer questions I had.

We stayed in Unit #2- a deluxe one bedroom. The price was extremely reasonable for the accommodations, and it was definitely worth the upgrade from a one bedroom. It was roomy and basically a home away from home. By the way, if you're debating between a one bedroom and a one bedroom deluxe, it's worth the little extra for the deluxe! Others had mentioned it being outdated. And although it's true the furnishings are not the most modern, we didn't mind at all. Everything was in working order and well taken care of. It was comfortable and clean and that's what we cared about. My only complaint was the bed was a little firm for my liking, but my husband slept just fine on it.

The grounds were nice and well kept. The main pool was always clean and a great place to relax. The piers jutting out into the waterway were nice for relaxing or fishing. My husband loved that they had fishing poles you could borrow during your stay. They also had pool floats, beach chairs, and umbrellas that guests can borrow. This was really great for us especially since we flew in.

Overall it was just a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Our family vacationed the week of August 6th 2013 at Parker Manor Resort. Before going, I had read so many great reviews about it and the owners. They were accurate reviews and Dawn was a pleasure! We had a minor issue on a Sunday and it was taken care of quickly and Dawn could not have been more accommodating. The 2-bedroom unit we stayed in (#6) was clean and beachy feeling. The view was great and sitting out on the deck right outside of our living room was SO RELAXING! Clearwater Beach Walk is gorgeous and just a 3min walk. Clearwater Beach is amazing and I can’t believe how much is within walking distance! We went jet skiing and parasailing, hung out on the beach during the day and walked the Beach Walk/Pier 60 at night. There were plenty of places to eat. We ate at the Palm Pavilion twice – great sunset views ! If you need to go a bit farther or don’t feel like walking, there is a Free Ride service that works for tips. We used them several times. Everyone was so friendly and it was such an enjoyable trip that we didn’t want to leave. Would definitely recommend it 100% and looking forward to going back!

Room Tip: Great views from balcony on the second floor facing the intercoastal.

We have just spent two weeks at Parker Manor in unit 7 a two bed waterfront apartment. This is such a fab place. The apartments are very clean and well maintained (maybe a little dated) and great value for money. Bud and Dawn are very welcoming and have everything you need. No need to take towels as there are plenty provided and cleaned daily, along with any little extras, also washing machine and dryer on site with washing products provided. You can also borrow the beach umbrellas and chairs to save you hiring the ones on the beach that cost 25 dollars for the day. There are also buckets and spades and fishing rods. The children loved the pool and the fact they could fish right off the jetty by the pool. We were very lucky during our stay we saw a dolphin and a manatee in the waters right by the jetty. The beach is a maximum of a 5 minute walk with sandy white beaches and plenty of good restaurants over a mile stretch (i recommend Crabbys on the south beach) and Pier 60 10 minutes with some fantastic stalls and entertainment in the evening.

I highly recommend this accommodation it is great value for money and is a good location, we will definitely be returning.

The 6-day vacation to Parker Manor Resort (from June 8th to June 14th) that my wife, and I, enjoyed was incredible!

BACKGROUND:
7-day, 6-night stay (Saturday-Friday)

ROOM:
2 bed, 2 bath unit (#7) on 2nd floor (with deck overlooking the inter-coastal waterway).
Comfortable queen-size bed and single twin bed in one bedroom, and two twin beds in the other bedroom.
Flat-screen, plasma TV (with DVD player).
Free Wi-fi

RESORT LOCATION:
Three-minute walk to Surf Style (and the "Flow Rider" Indoor surfing center)
Four-minute walk to beach
Seven-minute walk to "Pier 60"
Eight-minute walk to shops along Coronado

Dawn & Bud make every guest feel special. And, the guests quickly feel like family at Parker Manor. Though you're close to the beach, and a lively street (Coronado), the resort is peaceful and quiet. But, why leave? With two pools, two big sun decks, you can spend entire days at Parker Manor. Though restaurants are nearby, we spent nearly every night cooking in our unit (thanks to the full kitchen... right down to the dishes, silverware, and utilities you'd need), and eating on the deck overlooking the inter-coastal waterway. They even have BBQ grills! No detail is forgotten here. Our kids became real "pool sharks" with the outdoor pool table that's between the two pools. You can even fish off the docks. Bud has rods and reels for you if you need them. In-room Wi-fi was a real plus, too! We'll definitely be back!

We come to Parker manor once a year and as always it was soooo relaxing and the owners are wonderfully accommodating. The hotel is only 1.5 blocks from the beach and the pier, but we have more fun just hanging around the hotel playing pool, swimming, fishing. grilling out, and enjoying the serene intercostal waterway! Thanks again for a memorable trip bud and dawn!

Room Tip: Love unit #11.

When we arrived we felt right away that this would be a pleasant stay. We booked a deluxe one bedroom unit and it was bigger than we thought. The area is very nice with a big sundeck and 2 pools. If you want to have a bbq...No problem. Bud and Dawn are great hostes and they make every guest feel special. The area is clean and quiet and it is close to the beach. Our daughter had the time of her life and so had we. If you want to stay here make a reservation asap because this place is very popular. If you send Bud and Dawn a mail, they will get back to you very shortly. We will be back again. PS. If you are a golfer, Bud can recommend you to some good coursers.
