“It's in good shape, but not a special layout.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

The golf course club house is first class and the fairways and greens are in good shape. That said, there's not a lot of variety in the holes and the course is pretty flat. We were all coughing the first few holes from something, not sure if it was newly fertilized around the clubhouse, but as we got on the back part of the course the coughing went away. The fairways are in much better shape than most, the greens fast and the par fours play long.

“Good value for cost”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

I played three golf courses in Clearwater 5-13 May 2014: Belleview Biltmore, Clearwater Country Club, and Chi Chi Rodriguez. Chi Chi was in the best condition by far and Clearwater in terrible condition. Clearwater lacked water jugs and ball washers on the course. Broken tees had not been picked up in days. Tees were so near the previous greens to create a dangerous situation unless you didn't hit to the green until the next tee was clear, which slowed down play. Biltmore was in OK condition except the greens were so slick with sand that I almost fell down leaning on my putter to get my ball from the cup! It was also the most expensive of the three.
For the best course for the best value, play Chi Chi ($22 for 18 with cart)!!

“Great golfing value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2014

This course is a fun course to tackle. The scenery is nice, and there is almost always a breeze coming off the gulf. We played on a Saturday, in season, and I think we paid $32 pp. The course was not too crowded and was in excellent condition.

“What a joke of a course”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014

If you plan on coming to the course and 19th hole. Switch gears and go to one of the more upscale courses this area has to offer. Bar the service from the amazing bartender(I think her name was christa) this place is an absolute dump. Tried to speak to the General Manager, I was told he was on the course playing a round. To me, being a business owner a place in such disrepair and lack of customer service should have management team taking care of the customers and trying to keep the belligerent patrons at a low roar. Dont visit this course

“nice course but not the most intersting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2014

This course was in very good condition, well manicured and with quite fast greens. I was quite pleas3ed with it although it didn't have the most interesting layout. i would certainly play it again, but i find some other courses in the area a bit more interesting
