This is unfortunate as we decided to go with Mariott expecting the quality of all Mariotts. We checked in June 17th, 2018 got to our room after a lond day of travelling and there was a large area of dry blood on our duvet. Called down to front desk and they said someone would be up to change the bedding. No one came and my son wanted to rest a little so my husband went looking for a housekeeping person. The lady he found was not impressed we had asked her to switch the bedding in a room that wasn't "Her" room. THEN... No housekeeping for the following day. We were gone the whole day got back in the evening with no fresh towels. We are a family of 4 so we had garbage bins over flowing, I called down for towels as we wanted to shower after a long day at the beach. At check out this morning we voiced our concerns and we were told to fill out a comment card. SERIOUSLY? We paid for Mariott quality & service and got 1 star quality service. Spoke to their toll free # customer service after check out who appologized and understood my frustration and called the hotel however the General Manager was not able to answer the phone. So here we wait to see if a call will actually be made. We love Mariott and NEVER complain about anything however the blood on our bedding then the service that followed was not worth the $460USD we paid.

traveling from NY to Florida with Fiance, late at night, got last room. Robin F greeted me and was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. Stayed two nights and the morning staff, Agnes and Felita were happy and joking with us in the am, fiance treated me to a second night and he got Agnes to go along with his scheme, she did it with a smile and laugh, they were all great. Thank you Robin and Agnes for a great time and clean rooms, breakfast was great and tasty. Will stay again. Rich/Rosanne

This was the best hotel stay I've had in a long time, and I travel often. The hotel lobby area and rooms all had the same color palette and was very clean and colorful. It was just the right size hotel- it didn't take forever to get to my third floor room or to the fitness center or to the pool.
We stayed in a room with the whirlpool bath- BEST IDEA EVER!! Granted, we didn't have much of a view from our room (lot and trees) but the room was so comfortable and roomy, we didn't look out much- but stayed in almost all weekend! The whirlpool bath is in the corner of the bathroom closest to the bed and has transparent doors that open up to the bedroom, so you can watch tv from the bath ( and that's exactly what we did)! The shower and the bath ALWAYS ran hot and the shower pressure was so good that my honey managed to take several showers a day. The bed was super comfortable and the linens were white, so you could rest easy knowing they were clean. The pillows were light and fluffy and just enough for two.
The location was perfect, as well! It wasn't too far from the airport or downtown Tampa spots, but still just minutes away from Clearwater beach and Countryside Mall. We were able to have food delivered to our room door!
The only drawback to the entire weekend was that the satellite tv went up and down when it started raining, but it didn't last for long.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and there was always someone there. The free breakfast was your typical free breakfast, but it was fresh and hot and there was a person in the area cleaning and freshening up the entire time I was down there. Fairfield Inn has a wonderful getaway plugged into Clearwater. This will be my regular getaway spot, for sure!

Room Tip: Call to get a whirlpool bathtub.

Nice clean hotel. Easy access. Great breakfast area. Not far from Clearwater Beach. Outdoor pool. We would definitely stay there again. Handle on the shower broke. We left it at the front desk. When we came back from the beach, it was fixed! Friendly people.

Really nice property. Amazing staff and great ambiance. Everyone makes you feel at home awesome atmosphere. Personally like to thank overnight staff for helping us out with direction and her patience as we ask numerous question, management please share this information and great job on having staff. We will stay here again
