Not much to see except a beautiful view of the Gulf. Hard to find parking. Water cold, hardly no one in the water only on the beach.

We loved visiting the Pier every night to see what the vendors were selling and to check out the street performers. Something new every night. Free and very family friendly

great for the whole family. has a nice big playground for the younger kids, has water play things for the older kids (para sailing, ski doo, ect) and has the huge, white powder beach. The best part is the nightly, yes...every night, celebration of the sunset. It includes craft/jewelry vendors, henna tatoos and hair braiding. It occurs 2 hours before sunset and lasts til 2 hours after. I did not like the henna tatoo art...it cost $25 for a small 3 inch tatoo that turned out very light, wore off within days. The pier offers fishing and a gift shop. It also has a snack bar with sandwiches, fries, ice cream and boxed salads, nothing too great but it will keep you from starving and you dont have to leave to go get something elsewhere. There are lockers if needed, and good sized bathrooms with plenty of stalls. There is usually live music on the weekends and there are always street performers doing their thing. Some are better than others and they are always wanting your tips. We have seen some good acts and some not so good. We always try to come to this pier when vacationing in the area. Parking is close and lots of it @ $12 per day, or by the hour. all in all its a great place to spend the whole day and evening with the family.

Loads of interesting knick knacks and the vendors are not too pushy...there are lots of side attractions as well...well worth a visit
