The vendors there are unfortunately not much of a draw, in fact, it was a long slow walk to the end of the pier to look at seashell nightlights and friendship bracelets (ugh). Skip it and stay to the front of the pier to view the busker/entertainers and Captain Jack the most awesome pirate your kids will EVER meet (Check him out on Facebook search: Clearwater Beach Captain Jack).

All in all a great way to spend a couple hours with the family!

My husband and I had such a good time on the Pier. Craft vendors and entertainers. Something for everyone.

great place to take a nice walk and or fish
they even have a
place to clean your fish and water near by too
benches in the shade or sun
it will cost you to fish and they will charge you are dollar just to walk on it near the fishing area maybe to keep it less crowed for the fisherman

It is just a pier...that charges you to if you really just want to go enjoy the view.
There is nothing special about it.

The only interesting thing was all the artisans during the Sugar Sand festival!

Typical boardwalk pier with a gate halfway.
To reach the end you must pay $1 per person.
Nothing special so I hope the fee is used to maintain the pier.
I did not think it was particularly long for a fishing pier despite other comments saying so. On my visit during a Friday afternoon there were no vendors or street acts just 2 people attempting to fish with budget rods.
Parking was $3 per hour nearby with signs in the middle of the entrance claiming the lot was full but it wasn't - there were plenty if spaces !
