Friends invited us to join them for diviner at Cheddar's. It was a very pleasant surprise. They offer a nice variety and their prices are excellent as were our meals. I had the Chicken Pot pie which was very tasty. I opted to get a side salad and took half the pie home. Pathetic prices are very good, less than average. It is our friends favorite place to dine now.

Ate here the other night with the family. The prices at Cheddar's are very reasonable for what you get. The food is always good and served in large portions. Service was good. The restaurant is loud and always busy. I will eat here again.

Cheddar's is very reasonable, pretty good food, great drinks and one of the few places that makes mixed drinks and appetizers so reasonably priced that you can't resist. They generally had a $5 drink special but always have margaritas for $3.50!! They aren't tiny like most chains either. I do not care for the chicken here because I feel they buy it cheap and end up with all the tendons and gristle. I guess thats how it is so reasonable. The ribs are great, very tender. It is difficult to get a steak cooked medium but if I want steak I go to Longhorn. The burgers are huge and like 6 bucks. It is similar to what applebees used to be before they changed the menu. The difference is the prices are even more reasonable. The service is hit or miss. You sometimes get great service but quite often you get stuck with someone who could care less they have tables to serve. The salad and croissants are awesome. The onion rings and spinach dip are both good. They do offer the Monte Cristo sandwich for those who miss the old Bennigans greasy sandwich. They have a new cajun pasta that is also decent. I give them 3 stars because you sort of get what you pay for. If you want lower prices for a dine in restaurant then you have to take the bad with the good. Cheddar's is fairly clean and doesn't look like a dive. If you can get a good server then you should have a good time here. They do tend to get on some pretty lengthy waits and the host staff isn't very smart or well trained so you often wait for awhile while there are lots of tables setting open. Just a hint, the bar area is first come first serve.
