We were a group of five, myself, my partner, his parents and a family friend. The restaurant seemed to be fairly busy with guests arriving and people picking up takeout, but the outside and foyer were clean and we were greeted promptly. A table was set for us and the host took the time to sweep under the table before we were seated.
We were seated and welcomed quickly by Teresa who offered us some of their wine, took a drink order and answered any questions we had on the menu. She was helpful, made suggestions and we never felt like she was being pushy.
Salads and soup arrived quickly, she apologized that the bread was still baking and would be a few minutes - it literally was about four minutes and was fresh and warm. Salads and soup were great and she offered refills. She kept drinks filled and entrees came up quickly.
Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan and Cheese Ravioli were all hot, well presented and tasty. Our family friend ordered one of the new lighter Italian menu - Seafood Brodetto: Scallops, shrimp and delicate tilapia with spinach and mushrooms simmered in a light white wine and marinara-saffron broth. Served with toasted ciabatta bread.' It looked and smelled so good several of us wished we had ordered it.
We don't often go to Olive Garden because we tend to overeat on food that are too heavy - the new lighter Italian menu and Teresa's service might change our mind
