“Best trip so far”

Don't read the negative reviews this trip is amazing. We had a great guide who had alligators hitting our boat. We stopped for ages and he answered all our questions. The buggy ride good too although we hit a shower of rain. We saw ostrich, water buffalo, blue deer, turkeys, vultures and lots more. Even saw an alligator on the boardwalk trail. The cafe was ok. Everywhere was clean and tidy. At least on this trip you know your money is going to the Seminole tribe and not into some rich man's pocket

“One of the coolest attractions!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

Everyone who visits Florida should visit Billie Swamp Safari. We took the big buggy bus through the swamp. There were so many animals running around. Our buggy got stuck in the mud and we had to wait half an hour for another buggy to take us. Meanwhile, ostriches came running up to the buggy and the tour guide gave us seeds to feed it. Our tour guide/driver was awesome and fearless. When we got to the alligator enclosures, he went into one that housed an old large alligator and poked around the water hole and he pulled out the alligator by its tail! Amazing trip!

“Great family experience in the Everglades”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

Our first time in the Everglades after many trips to Miami visiting family... Billie Swamp Safari was a great first Everglades experience for our family (and specifically, our 4 year old). We had a solid day from about 9:30-2pm, and left at nap time, having gotten a chance to do a boat tour, buggy ride (showcasing both wildlife and Seminole history), and the critter show. The tour guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable. There's nothing particularly fancy about the place, but for us it was a perfect fit since we could fit in multiple experiences over the course of an extended morning- making for a perfect day trip from Miami.

“Past its prime, not worth the long drive”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

The literature on this place promises 15 plus attractions but in reality there are only handful still in operation. The airboat ride was exciting but short, only 1/2 hour. We only saw one small alligator and a bunch of birds. The critter show only had 3 critters, an ant-eater, a ferret and a small alligator. The panther was sleeping. We saw nothing on the nature walk. We saw some gators in a pool and a couple of tortoises. Oh yeah, and some raccoons in the garbage, if you can count that. Otherwise, the place was sort of a ghost town. Past its prime and not worth the long drive.

“Good value with a day pass!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

Our first airboat tour and buggy ride was awesome...our guide was not too talkative but was nice...we did not see any gators on either tours but saw a lot of different wildlife. We did not see any shows as we ran out of time. I suggest booking the whole day for this trip.
