I assume this is Clewiston Inn. We got a breakfast of grits, fried potatoes, 2 eggs, bacon or sausage and toast and coffee. This sold to others not staying there for $5. Felt sorry for waitress because there was only one and she was rolling. A couple mornings the had buffet with scrabbled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, French toast and pancakes. really good

I heard they had a really neat bar, so we stopped in. There is a wrap around mural of what Florida looked like when there were more critters than people. It covers all the walls in the lounge. We had burgers and catfish which were fine but nothing to go out of your way for. Everybody was friendly. Worth coming by and I am sure I will be back

We stopped here on our way to Fort Lauderdale for breakfast. The restaurant is in the historic Clewiston Inn. Now I know historic sounds musty and old, but while the decor was colonial, it was fresh and well kept up. Lots of crown molding and architecture to take in. We enjoyed looking at the old black and white pictures tastefully displayed in the hall and there was a beautiful hand painted mural that wrapped around the four walls in the lounge. Apparently they run an ongoing $5 breakfast special which includes 2 eggs , bacon or sausage, home fries or grits and coffee. What a deal! Service was good as was the food. I would eat there again.

Had lunch at the Clewiston Inn (Colonial Dining Room) during the week with spouse – after some trepidation following the TA.com and Yelp reviews. Very pretty looking inn and deserving of its historical designation. Inside is classy and it looks well kept up. The dining room had two other tables occupied with groups of 4-5 and a separate room with a Lion’s Club meeting. We choose the buffet lunch at $10.95 with choices of fried chicken, pork and macaroni with chicken casserole. . Also came with mashed potatoes, rice, mixed veggies, corn, peas and a decent salad bar. The service was very good – friendly and fast. The food was good for a buffet and the helpings were generous. Small pieces of carrot cake and German chocolate cake for dessert that were also very good.
We were probably lucky to have finished before a bus party group arrived!!
Overall, we enjoyed the pleasant ambiance, good service and the buffet. We would return.

We were expecting turkey and fixings. they served pressed turkey. No mashed potatoes, when we finished what we could force down, there was no desert. They had run out. Maybe it was just as well!
