“Great hotel, perfect location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2014

We've stayed at the Inn eight times since we first came to Cocoa Beach for a Space Shuttle launch in 1997. We liked the area so much that we decided to move there when we retired! The last time we stayed at the Inn was in 2012 when we were looking at houses prior to moving, but since then, we've stopped by the Inn several times to visit the people there and let our dog, Skippy, play with the Inn's dogs, Lilly and Lucy. The place is comfortable, the staff is warm and friendly, and the location on the beach next to Alan Shepard Park is perfect. The sun deck is a great place to watch rocket launches. Another thing we especially like is that the Inn attracts a very interesting clientele from all over the world. Every evening, they have a wine and cheese tasting in the breezeway next to the lobby, which is a great opportunity to meet and socialize with other guests. At this event, we've met rocket scientists, government officials, photographers, vacationers from all over the world, and even a mystery writer who wrote a book in which the plot centers around the Inn. This place is a real treasure and we recommend it highly!

Room Tip: Rooms in the tower section have the best ocean view. Rooms in the two-story wing overlooking the poo...

We had several rooms in our group and everyone shared the same view. The Inn was clean and had a balcony that had an ocean view. The managers are wonderful and very accommodating.
We were in Cocoa Beach for a funeral mass and had many family members in town. Paula showed us their meeting space and it was perfect for the family to have a gathering. The beach is a two minute walk to the pier that leads directly to the ocean. After the ocean on Sunday morning the pool at the hotel was a nice dip. The pool and grounds are maintained extremely well. The breakfast was perfect. Fresh baked muffins every morning. Wine and cheese social every evening. If you are expecting a chain hotel atmosphere, this place is not for you. If you are expecting clean, friendly, accommodating, great view of the ocean,(just ask for it) memorable, charming, unique, and great value then the Inn at Cocoa Beach is for you. We would highly recommend the hotel and considering a return visit in the fall.

Room Tip: Second or third floors at least !

As soon as we walked in the lobby we were greeted by warm smiles and welcomes!( A very nice way to begin our anniversary weekend). August 9 - 11, 2014

We stayed in Room 210 (second floor Standard Oceanfront with a King Size Bed. This building is two story and is a "walk up". No problem, just talked to the two house parrots on the way). We had a lovely view of the courtyard/ pool area, trees and ocean. (Note: One goes through a little gate, crosses the small parking lot (it is very nice and was not crowded at all when we where there) and cross the walkway to the beach. It is very nice, so don't let this keep you from staying here).

The room was quaint and charming. However, if you were going to stay more than one or two days, you may opt to stay in the 3 story (newer) building with an elevator. They were very gracious in showing us one of those rooms the day that we checked out (for future reference). Those rooms are BIG with sitting areas (couch, coffee table, chairs and a great view of the ocean). Very nice.

Pros: Charm times a godzillion. The lobby area was so cozy with all the couches, chairs, tv, chess table and tea/coffee 24hrs. Plus Lilli & Luci the pet Shiz Tuis (they do not interact with customers only if you want them to). There is also another sitting area adjacent to the lobby (open air). This is where wine and cheese is served every day at 5pm. Two courtyards, pool, just lovely and very clean. Having the little pups and parrots around was endearing!!

Con: While our room was lovely, the walls were a little "thin". I heard our "neighbor" snoring one night and could hear their conversations. (Perhaps we should consider traveling with a white noise machine. That's a thought!!) Wish we would have had more counter space at the sink and in general; but that really wouldn't have been possible.

Overall, it was a great experience would absolutely stay there again!!!

Room Tip: If you like to "spread out" in your room, pick the building that has 3 stories and the ele...

This is a nice place. We found it listed as a B&B and it does have some of the characteristics of a B&B. It is an older motel right on the beach. Somewhat well maintained, but there were a few (minor in scope) signs of wear. The rooms are each furnished uniquely, in B&B style. The breakfast is a cut above typical motel offerings. They offer a wine and cheese get together in the early evening. The pool is nice and well maintained. We would do it again if we were coming to the Cocoa area.

Room Tip: The rooms all have private balconies. Get a room on the bottom floor in the northern wing - these o...

We were really impressed when we opened the door to our ocean front room. One of the most tastefully decorated rooms I ever set foot in. The room and bath area is small, but the decor is like staying in your mother's spare bedroom, you just feel very comfortable immediately. They have a free happy hour of wine and cheese and a huge beautifully decorated dining area for your free breakfast. A honor system bar area where you make your own drinks. A very friendly and gracious staff, they give you a tour of the amenities when you check in. You are a 2 minute walk from Ron Jons and 1 minute walk to the beach. A great location.

Room Tip: King size bed with a view of the pool and ocean. 2nd floor for a better view. If you are staying for...

It's our third time at the Inn and everytime we enjoyed it. The staff at the front desk, the house keepers, the grounds keepers, the food servers, everyone is wonderful, they are friendly, we feel welcome and the place is quiet. The two dogs Lili and Luci are friendly and well behaved.
The property is beautiful and well kept.
Our request list:
Small refrigerator
Safety deposit box back in the room
Hooks in the bathroom
Safer room key, it's easy to identified upon a lost.

We want to go back next year.

The Inn is a little treasure! Carolyn is the most welcoming and genuine front desk attendant I have met in a "hotel" environment! She was kind and gentle to my most precious little daughter and thank is unforgettable. She made us feel welcome after having had a not so welcoming check. The Inn decor in the common areas are very homely and antique then you get to your room and they are completely redesigned and new. The boutique hotel has FRESH homemade breakfast every morning cooked by a sweet chef that feels like your mother is baking and cooking in the kitchen. It is a perfect fusion of a hotel and bed&breakfast! Truly a unique spot!
