“Private Garden Oasis a few steps from the beach”
Reviewed 2 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We stayed in the Manatee Suite on the first 3 nights of our Florida vacation. The suite was adorable just like the pictures. Jackie and Dave, the owners, have worked beautifully to create a tropical oasis just steps from the beach.
A small kitchenette is included in the suite as well as beach chairs and towels. Gardeners especially will be in heaven admiring Jackie's green thumb.
Walk to breakfast, dinner, bars and the beach.
This property will be our first choice for a return stay. 3 days was not long enough!

“Nice cottage rental that is exceptionally close to beach access”
Reviewed 14 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

The manatee suite is a 1 bedroom suite that has a lot of beach charm. The hosts, Jackie and David, are warm, welcoming, and make wonderful recommendations for local restaurants. The cottage space is nicely decorated and furnished with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, blender and griddle. The terrace/courtyard has a couple of lounge chairs, a table with a nice, large umbrella, and a koi pond. The love and attention the hosts put into the space is evident everywhere you look. There are landscaped plants and plants in pots. A privacy gate can be closed if you would like. There is an outside shower to rinse off the sand. The hosts provided beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler. Thank you for that! The inside of the cottage is spotlessly clean and has a nice tiled bathroom and shower. We were fortunate to stay during a period of time where we could leave the windows and top half of the Dutch door open most of the time. We found the Dutch door to be an interesting feature of the cottage that allowed an open air feel to the stay. The cottage is right on the street but the suite is on the back side of the building. There is some traffic noise, but the water feature and numerous wind chimes help drown out the street noise. Most of the cottages on this stretch of the beach are located in a median area where the highway splits into separated one-way sections. The walk to the beach is easy requiring a short hop across 2 lanes of traffic and you are at the sand! This cottage has the best location, from what we saw. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were very relaxed by the end of our beach time. Thank you to the hosts!

“Gem across from the beach”
Reviewed 2 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Super cute and comfortable cottage. Quaint private courtyard. Within walking distance of many restaurants with beach access across the street. Jackie and Dave were extremely nice and offered advice on places to eat nearby. The cottage has everything you need including beach chairs, cooler, towels in addition to the small kitchenette.

Very cozy and well appointed cottage. Nice private courtyard. Within walking distance of many restuarants and several shops. Beach access is right across street from the cottage. The owners were very nice and offered advice on places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

“Paradise”
Reviewed 21 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The cottage was extremely clean, adorably decorated, and right next to the beach. So many little details made our stay pleasant. It really is a little slice of paradise. We can't wait to go back!
