incredible stay! Much more fancy than a hotel or other timeshare. Nicest one on Cocoa Beach. They even have a free movie theater onsite. The poolside bar makes great smoothies. Have a fun water aerobics program, too. The beach is soft sand(unlike most of the others on Coc. Bch). These are upscale condos. Loved the various restaurants nearby. A relaxing place for us middle agers.

We stayed there 2 nights in February. Although they were painting the exterior while we were there, we had full access to the beautiful pool and didn't encounter any problems. The room was the largest suite I have ever seen at a resort in that price range (probably was a condo building previously). The front desk was very helpful when it came to directions and restaurant recommendations, and the room itself was fully stocked with dishes, paper towels, detergent, etc. We stayed at another resort during the same trip that was almost double the price and didn't have these amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

We own a timeshare and have used it all over the country, and this was BY FAR the best resort we have stayed at. Upon check-in we were informed that we were upgraded to the 8th floor penthouse. What a GREAT view from both the living room and master bedroom, through glass doors over the beach and ocean!! It was sooo great to wake up to a beautiful sunrise every single day. The unit was equipped very nicely, with EVERYTHING you could need! We had a 19 month old with us and we were provided with a nice crib, linens (for the crib) and a high chair. The master bath had a great whirlpool tub and a multiple head shower that just made relaxing sooooo easy!! The kitchen was well equipped and I had NO complaints about any parts of it!!

The resort itself was beyond beautiful!! The grounds were immaculate. They were painting parts of the facade while we were there, but it didn't interrupt anything we were doing! The pool was VERY clean and the pool bar was a great option for a quick bite or nice "tropical" drink. The kids play area was VERY nice also. The ball pit was a BIG HIT with our daughter. She wanted to be swimming in the ocean, in the pool, or in the ball pit at all times.

The mexican restraunt was a VERY nice convenience so that you could grab a nice meal and it was really close. There were many choices for restraunts and stores in a very close area, so if you needed it, you could get it pretty quickly!

So, overall, the vacation was great. The resort we would definately go back to in a second and probably will in the fufure. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to e-mail me at scheib_megan@yahoo.com.

Stayed 3 nights this January. Place is clean with relaxed ambience. Family-oriented with kids game room, and kids activities.
Loved having breakfast in verandah with oceanview. Wonderful to have a kitchen to prepare your own things. Grocery close-by .
Found this great italian restaurant called Silvestro's (close to Publix), authentic italian. Also tried Heidelberg for authentic German cuisine.

Pool however is small and awkwardly located between resort entrace and parking lot.

Will definitely stay here again if we come back in this area.

My Family and I had THE BEST vacation ever at The Resort At Cocoa Beach. I was able to surf while my 2 kids played on the beach, in the pool, and in the Game room. Everything about the place was 1st rate. The unit itself was very large, had a free internet connection, and dvd player. All the people that worked there were very friendly and helpful. My family and I hated to leave and can't wait to go back. If you like to take a vacation and get in a little surfing, and have kids that don't want to surf but have a great time, this is the place. We can not wait to go back.

We stayed at the Resort at Cocoa Beach for two nights prior to a cruise from Port Canaveral. We were late getting in to the resort due to bad weather (we drove from Orlando) but when we arrived, the front desk was very accommodating & check in was a breeze. As a reference - this property is located next door to the Hilton & they share the same beachfront.

I booked a 2 BR condo at this property as my husband & I were traveling with our three boys (ages 10, 12 & 12) and this was MUCH more economical that a hotel. The unit was VERY spacious, with twin beds in one room, king pullout couch in LR, and king bed in master BR. Master had its own bath with jacuzzi tub. Kids had their own bath & shower, and the layout of the place puts the LR between the two bedrooms for privacy :-)

This place was SPOTLESS and had fully stocked kitchen for a much longer stay. They provide beach towels for the pool & on-site beach and there is washer-dryer in the unit. They had an activities desk in the lobby that we did not use because we were there for such a short time. The only downside is that the on-site restaurant is not open for breakfast but you certainly stock up on groceries and eat in the unit. Markets and restaurants are very close, as are other shops, including RonJon Surf Shop.

We toured NASA & Kennedy space center the day before our cruise & loved that. MAKE SURE to allow for time to get to the Astronaut Hall Of Fame which was really the highlight of the experience. It is located away from the main visitor center so a car would be necessary. Since we flew into Orlando from LAX, we rented there but dropped off in Cocoa Beach & had the rental car company shuttle us to the cruise terminal. Hertz, Thrifty and Avis all have locations here.

If you are planning on visiting Orlando and want to spend time on the coast, I would definitely recommend this resort. It is a great economical choice for families and our unit could easily have handled up to 6 guests. Total price (the best part) for 2 nights??? Only $130 including taxes.....What a deal!

Stayed here for 3 nights nov 3-5 2006. Great location, beautiful view of Ocean, huge suite. This place was very kid friendly (movie theatre, arcade, kid's programs etc.). We were there over the weekend though and there was nothing going on- be aware that most of the kid's activities are scheduled mon-fri. Real nice pool, had a great time there on a Sunday relaxing and listening to the live steel band musician. Room was HUGE, great place for a family. Did not try onsite restauraunt- lots of places to eat very close by- we liked Grills in Port Canaveral. There are also several large grocery stores very close by.
