“Stay at your own risk”
Reviewed 8 November 2013

Have stayed in many hotels over the years on business and pleasure. I think Motel 6 would be a better choice. This was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. First of all they charge you for EVERYTHING from parking to internet. They have a business center that costs you a fortune to print out a document, make a copy or use the internet. The restaurant is awful. They have a breakfast buffet that is made up of mostly premade items, rubbery fake eggs and there is a horrible odor around the buffet. Dinner (the one night I ate there) was overpriced and the quality of the food was terrible. The greens in the salad were brown, my steak was overcooked and someone must have ordered fish because the odor from it was unbearable. The service was OK but still not up to Hilton standards. I had to wait at the hostess stand for quite some time before a man came up and asked me if I wanted to have dinner. The dining room was empty and yet he put me at this little table in the corner that barely accomodated the dishes for my meal. I had to ask several times for more water yet I am assuming the manager walked past my table several times and did not seem to notice me. The next morning I called to order room service but no one answered the phone. The rooms are dated and smell very musty and with windows that don't open it is hard to ever breathe in them. My head was congested from the time I walked in until the time I left. I was told at the front desk that the hotel is undergoing a renovation and that hopefully they will be able to get rid of all the mold in the building!!!! I guess not only do they not care about service they do not care about the health of their guests.

Room Tip: Doubletree down the street.

This hotel was pricey and dated. Staff were friendly and meals were nice. Close to everything. The swimming pool was the size of a postage stamp, not big enough to do laps past about 4 strokes. We found out that the hotel is due to be pulled down and rebuilt next year and I think thats a good thing.

Loved this place - highly recommend. You won't regret staying here. Only a few steps from the beach. Staff was professional and accommodating. Gave us a late check-out so we could enjoy the beach longer before a big storm came in. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!!

The A/C was blower 90 degree air when I returned to the room. Earlier I reported a thumping noise under the tub- supposedly an HVAC issues to be! Breakfast buffer was a rip off with poor selection and high price- stay at Hampton if you need to do the Hilton experience.

Stayed here for a coupla nights last month, last minute booking off Hiltons own website.
Paid $69 for the Sunday, $109 for the Monday, room 533, 5th floor side view.
No upgrades, even though we're Hilton Honors Silver members.
Not a bad room in a good location but nowhere to really walk to for food and drink nearby.
What ticks us off about this place is that everything little thing is extra.
Here's a selection;
- small plastic bottle of water in the room $3.95
- soda from the machine on the landing $1.50
- 24 hours of wi-fi in the room $3.95
- bottle of Coors light in the souless bar $5.00
- burger and a Bud by the pool $19.00 (on a 'special', that one!)
- 10 mins internet access in the business centre $10
- print a sheet off £1.00
- parking $5.95 a day (why? even the cheapest motels were free!)
- etc., etc., etc., you get the message

Not the best service either and the room cleaners are so noisy slamming doors against the latch whilst in and out from early on - no chance of a sleep in.

Need to do better and give better value...

Room Tip: Managing to blag anything would be a result at this place...

I always stay at the Cocoa Beach Hilton when I go to visit my uncle twice a year. It is a very nice hotel right on the ocean and is very comfortable and user friendly. On my recent visit there were w few issues that I didn't like such as being charged for morning coffee in the lobby which used to be free, being charged for using the computer in the business center, being told that parking was complimentary when it always has been free, it's a huge parking lot, and being told that the price that I paid for the room varies based on how full or empty the hotel is on any given night. Other than this it is a very nice hotel and I will return there the next time I visit my uncle.

Spent one night after a cruise. We booked the room at a last minute discount rate and it was a good value, eventhough the room location next to elevator wasn't ideal. The pool, pool bar, and sunning deck were the best amenities for the hotel. Location on the beach was very convenient. Staff was prompt and very friendly. Would certainly stay at this hotel again, especially for the discounted rate.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the elevator if your sensitive to the traffic and noise.
