We stayed in a beachfront room for two nights and didn't want to leave. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the room was clean and well furnished. We thought the bed was very comfortable and slept quite well. The view from our room was just breathtaking - we especially enjoyed watching the cruise ships depart at night with all their lights on and the moon shining on the ocean. Just beautiful. The beach was just a short walk from the hotel and was never very crowded. We would definitely go back to Cocoa Beach and make this Hilton our home base!

Hilton included a food coupon that paid for 2 days room service breakfast. Nice surprise!

We've been staying up and down Cocoa Beach for over 25 years, 1-3 weekends per summer. The 3-star hotels are all about equal in quality. The Hilton was renovated more recently than others due to hurricane damage. Rooms are nicely furnished, well lit, and we found the bed quite comfortable. (and hallway AC was working). We had a good-sized room with a couch (probably converts to a bed) and a desk, with plenty of floor space - not crowded at all. The bathroom was a bit small and inconvenient, but modern - actually it had the best water pressure of any beach hotel we've stayed in anywhere. Probably the only beachfront hotel without balconies, but most rooms have at least some ocean view.

Although the hallways and elevators were very warm, they were in the process of getting the air system in (we witnessed the large systems being placed on the roof). Knowing most (coin laundry room, warm) everything else in the building was air conditioned made up for it. Also, the fact you would be on the beach in moments was all worth the sweat!
Wear foot protection on the pool deck as they do have signs posting to do so. But, also remember during the "hot" summer season to also wear foot protection before stepping onto the sand, it is extremely hot! I had witnessed many people running into the water to get comfort.

The friendly service at the Hilton, a plus!

I arrive late for my 1 night stay. The hotel staff waere very nice and I recived a very nice large comfortable room. The free wireless internet was nice as I was on business. The room had a microwave and fridge. While the AC was broken in the halls the room temperature was good. The exercise room was open 24 hrs. You can walk past the medium size pool to the beach. Very nice. I will come back.

Very nice hotel, esp. considering the choices on Cocoa Beach. Great location right on the beach and one of the best around that area. Near many restaruants and clsoe to Ron Jon Surf Shop. Very clean, inside and out. Spacious rooms, with very comfy beds. Great dark our curtains if you desire to sleep in. Only wish we had a balcony. :(

This Hilton is one of the older "newer" hotels, built in the mid-80's when the smaller, Mom-and-Pop beach motels were being torn down. The 2004 hurricanes really hammered the hotel, and it was closed in to 2005 for a large-scale renovation.

The room was clean and well-appointed, but as another recent guest noted, my wife found the bed to be soft, worn and uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was slow to drain, and it was also leaking underneath, which it had been doing for quite some time, as there was a black mold streak directly under the sink. Once reported to the front desk, however, the slow-running drain was promptly repaired. We noticed that a section of the parking lot was dug up, exposing some water/drainage pipes, so there was obviously some work underway. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in an oceanfront room, and between watching the magnificent nightime electrical storm and the gorgeous Atlantic sunrise, we kept the drapes open most of the time.

The restaurant was more than acceptable, with a tasty breakfast buffet and (for a hotel restaurant) reasonable prices.

The hotel staff was pleasant, informative and accomodating.

As another recent guest pointed out, the air conditioning was not working in the corridors and some other common areas, but we found it very comfortable in our room.

Despite the multimillion dollar renovation of four years ago, the hotel has only 3 or 4 passenger elevators, which were greatly overtaxed and always had people lined up. While the pool deck is large and comfortable, the swimming pool is almost "tiny" for a hotel of that size; like the elevators, the pool seemed to be overextended, so we opted to go to our nearby timeshare and use their much-larger pool. Beach access was easy.

All-in-all, however, we had a fun stay, and have plans to return to this hotel very soon.
